I got a response from an LBC ad!

I enquired politely whether a car had a CT or not, you know, would have been nice to include that information in the advert in the first place. Seeing as you can't check online or anything....

response (nothing else)

non vu le prix

That is fairly normal. Basically he is saying "at this price you must be joking of course it hasn't got a CT" At least he has replied you could work on that. If you really want it tell him you need to arrange ferries etc and before you do you would like a little more info. Don't ask too much just the basics like will it get me home and is the floor falling out of it. You do find that some sellers in France don't actually speak French as their first language especially in the cities. If it is a car you like and a price you can afford to lose go for it, just don't expect to get much more in the way of replies.

The interior plastics are hilarious, but the car also weighs 7 and a half grams. So, they should be amazing to boot about.

Think of the grimmest thing you can think of. Then think of something worse. Then think of something that transcends the grimness and shite continuum and continues onwards until it warps factors through the grim barrier and turns into something awesome,

That was fun eh!

Anyway, I believe grimness was mentioned

Noice blue Fait. Problem with the gears, mechanic thinks it's a gearbox fault. Strange, with a non functioning transmission my first thought would have been rear shock absorbers?

Fool everybody* into thinking you have an Audi TT by sampling gluing a Little Tykes Cozy Cottage to a Metro chassis, then making the interior out of boiled sweets

£2,000 which is enough buy you an actual TT and change to buy 24" Knobwangle alloy wheels, some weed and enough fuel to pilot you round your housing estate several times.

MOT history not too bad, advisories last two or three years for slightly leaking power steering pipe/s.

Sad as it is, if that was 200 miles nearer I'd have bid on that.
