Very early facelift one there, on a B plate. Doesn’t look completely irredeemable, if you were very keen.

The last Metro I bought was like that but on a C plate. Targa red facelift City X bought in 1989, three years old and it needed a front wing.

 

God they were fucking rubbish.

No MoT test results on the site for that 25, so it's been laid up for a while.  Bound to be OK though eh...?

 

Plenty of UK sourced classics and young timers spend years in Ireland without being reregistered; not right or legal but the way it is; not impossible to buy but caution needed

The sort of prices being sought for these here lately makes this look a bargain; they really are a dandy little thing to drive with that engine / gearbox

That AX Enterprise on the previous page is a fantastic find. The fixed rear windows totally change its appearance, it looks like a Communist copy of a western car

Indeed, that AX is a pure masterpiece. I think I'll have to import something like that at some point.
