Opel Monza GSE

Another one in storage that has to go...

Opel Monza GSE

Mileage - been so long I’ve forgotten (by all means use the reg to check if you want)

It starts and drives. Is usable in its current state but could do with some restoration.

It has the digital dash too (all working)

I am uploading photos now - Pictures not great I’m afraid as I had very limited space in which to take them.

£1700 and in Reading

PM me if you need anymore info or any details as I don’t always get on here to check the thread.

Thanks,

Phwoar, if that was a fat bird in skintight silver lycra I'd give it one.

Good luck with the sale. The big Teutonic GM cars of the late seventies to mid nineties have a special place in my heart as my folks had 2 of 'em. :)

I loved my Monza (well, what was left of it. Briefly) and every time I see one I almost fall in love again. Almost.

Properly cool. GLWTS.

Its only 17,000 10p’s

....errr no please don’t pay me in 10p’s...

I’ll need my truck to take it to the bank...

I ran into the back of one of them in Edinburgh around 1987. Dented the back right in and bent the forks right back to the engine on my old Suzuki GS 550. I ended up on the bonnet.

Oh how we laughed!

Oh my, childhood memories. Ours was green, absolutely loved it.

How much sparkly stick action would this need Wingz?

My mates got one of these, I took it for a drive the other week and I was really impressed, he's also looking to sell and I was quite tempted but no spare money's at the moment, its really responsive compared to my old SD1 and what a dash to sit behind!

I'm sure a giffer owned example lives at the bottom of Belle Vue bank, Gateshead. Garage bird [only seen Bhols + sunny days].

Apart from the digi dash (I hate them) that looks fantastic!

Not a huge amount - I shall have to familiarise myself with what this needed. Floorplans I think and a few patches on the inner sills. Not too too bad. Got quite a lot in storage at the moment beside the list in my signature was just trying to work my way through it and get it gone - quite a few to mention - 560sec, s600, alfasud, jiffy van for any of those wanting to start a sandwich van business, evo4.

Come to the realisation I just don’t get a chance to drive them....what good are they sat about? Took me long enough to find them though mind you...

I digress slightly but am after a clean original Audi quattro turbo if anyone knows of one....?

I love the digi dash. Had one in my 24v Senator and still miss it now. Wish it had have been an option on the Omega.

I know a bloke with a lovely Monza, in essex.will ask him if he is interested in another one.

Yeah, big Opels for the win! I love mine way too much to sell if, even if I havent driven it for a while now (which didnt stop me from replacing parts on it...)

Bits that need welding -

Behind headlights

Spare wheel well

Thats it - NOT floorplans

Tell me more...

83’ Alfasud Cloverleaf needing light restoration again...

Could you please send me some pics and a brief idea of how much work it needs and how many pictures of the queen you want to swap it for.

Posted

Yes shall get you pictures - I am not sure when I’ll be heading back there as I have to book a time in as to when to attend - a bit like booking an appointment I suppose.

Thanks,

James
