oh very much so, thats very much on the plan of things to do with REV :) although sadly I am not sure if you can actually park a vehicle in front of most land marks these days? I dont think one can drive up to and park outside of 10 downing street for example!

but maybe I can sneak her in front of the gates of Buckingham Palace?  it does not look *too* pedestrianised?

Best time for that is in the summer very early - say 6.00am especially on a weekend - or Christmas/New Year when London outside the shopping streets  is very quiet. One of my my neighbours is a political press photographer - if I see him I'll ask if he has any tips.

It's all certainly possible with a photographer set up - though Downing Street is gated.

Be good to get it set up with one of the original Routemasters still running on Route 15? But that could be set up at the garage with a bit of blagging.

There is also the opportunity to bring it into town on the day of the veteran car run one November. There are also other car events in Central London occasionally - I recall one on Regent Street.

The Apostrophe Police have been notified. 😂

Who's is a contraction of "who is," as in "who's there? and "the friend who’s calling," or of "who has," as in "who's got the time?" and "the friend who’s helped before." Whose shows possession, as in "whose shoes are these or whose Invacar is this?".

The Apostrophe Police are only concerned with crimes against apostrophes - for other type of alleged grammar crime you need the relevant force.😂

That's Mary Berry, who is famous for making cakes on television. I don't know if there's anything more than that (I don't watch television programmes about people making food as I find cooking very boring)

As said it's British celebrity baker Mary Berry. In England people bake cakes to celebrate things, REV arriving back at the FoD is worth a gigantic cake.

That's great news, Dez. Bet you can't wait! What a trooper @Saabnutis.

very much so! I had hoped to to have her home by this weekend, but the logistics did not quite work out, hopefully she wont mind a week at the FoD :)

and indeed hopefully @Saabnut is able to get some good rest during all of this! its a fair old jaunt as they say!

Currently at another (cheap) travelodge as tomorrow is over to Cirencester for the Saab OC AGM then up to Sheffield for the Vitesse. That will be on my own thread! @LightBulbFun  - @Mrs6Chas the keys, one does everything except the drivers door. The other key does that but the lock is a bit of a bodge so suggest you leave it locked and use the left hand door in normal use. She also has the spares box.

That's me done for now.

What a rollercoaster this thread is! I’m so happy seeing this.

Hats off @Saabnut!

@LightBulbFun I hope to soon see a lot of photos of REV doing things in London. Please please please be careful though!

Wholesome content all round!

The phrase 'This place' applies in spades here, and to you. Well done that man.
