These door pockets are not just for large bottle of water/cheap red wine

Beyond that, it's covered about 200 miles since coming on fleet. No issues so far and it's been staying ok all day - regardless of whether it was left locked/unlocked etc.

Huzzah!

58k achieved in 14 years..

post-17572-0-87728700-1533568187_thumb.jpg

It rewarded me with a scratchy sound from the rear when braking..

Guesss I'll have a look at it at somepoint this week.

Not too bad. Now to sort the back garden...

This earned its dinner today.

It started with a full tank, then I added a modicum* of garden detritus..

Despite being lower than a rapper's troos, she was not coilbound and the ride was ok.

Hills were fun!

All emptied now, and I think she gets a day off tomorrow.

I still remember my old Pickering bus well.

It went on to scaryoldcortina from this parish I believe?

EW10J4 went in onto the 1.8 manual gearbag..... Major fun and all ran on the 1.8 ecu.

The engine I used was from a 140bhp auto Pickering and even though it looked interesting* with silver panels, facelift lights and bumpers and the original red painted shell..... It embarrassed many a chav in golf TDI around Stockton.

Great buses these and I love them. Even my dad had a tinker with his auto 2.0 and got it to 162bhp on the rollers

The ex-Chompy Pickering Bus is still going strong last I heard, still looking like it escaped a scrapyard too and very much earning its keep.

I'm done for the day so it can sit overnight before the second bakey trip!

These really are ace at doing all the jobs you should have a van for (but the tip nazis won’t let you)

I feel they'll be fed up of the sight of this shortly;)

How are you doing to the tank? Im getting roughly 400 miles from a tank with my 1600 pez ( no A/C though).

The Picasso gets used for all the shit hauling jobs as getting the back seats out is a breeze compared to the hernia inducing effort in the C8. Downside with mine is the year after yours PSA deleted the tip forward seat catches and replaced them with 2 T20 bolts you have to undo. There is however a jump start point under the bonnet if you need to jump it.

There's a jump start point under the bonnet of them all isn't there?

Certainly was on my 52 plate one, which had the tip forward seat, too.

Tip forward seat is GR9 if you need to get half of a superking bed base in...

Not that I'd drive with the passenger window partially blocked, officer

Got 400 out the first tank. 2nd tank has been a lot more round the houses/hooning.

Tip forward is smashing for getting long Ikea bookcases in when stripped back to parts:)

172 is nice , tis split_pins on here

Re: your purchase. Not entirely sure whether to congratulate you or punch you in the nuts to enable you to feel instantly less pain than you would experience for buying  French Ronniemobile in blue.

Yes, just wasnt sure if 320T was aware of that with the photos of the seat up and jump leads.

The end of this things tenure is rapidly approaching..

MOT runs out on Sat 29th Sept.

I've been offered £133 for it uplifted.

post-17572-0-74202000-1537823220_thumb.png

Any interest at £133 from anyone?

Alternatively, could do a roffle this Saturday, but only if it sells out and Money is in.

£2.50 a ticket.

Bad

It's been welded at the front of both sills.

Clunk from front let over bumps (suspect front arm).

Dipstick broken.

May need a tyre Right rear.

MOAR HITS THAN THE BEATLES. Pass side doors is concave, as is one of the rear wings

GOOD

60k miles

Engine and gearbox spot on.

Interior fairly tidy

A/C works - I was cutting glass with my nipples the other day.

Ideal shite hauler - had a king-size mattress in it yesterday.

2 keys (I think)

40mpg on a run

33mpg fully loaded to the gunnels.

Seats 5 adults in comfort

Handles like a tall Xsara (almost like they based it on one..)

Cubbyholes

Working Radio

Celebrity* endorsement (who?)

Starting issue was resolved with a decent battery.
