Arrive when you like, leave when you like just let me know what the plan is.

I suspect I'll be there Friday night and Saturday night. I may also arrange to convoy with Midlands folk on the way down

See the thing that's annoying me is the abitrary cut off date..

The Toledo is a 93:(

Get it booked in and don't worry about that, they don't enforce it. Someone on the Facebook page said he wouldn't be in a classic unless a 93 Corolla counted and Hagerty told him to book it into the classic parking. Heck, somebody last year managed to enter a 2004 Nissan Terrano!

Yeah...if they turned their noses up at the Lada as "too modern" that would be a shame...

Xantia too...though it's an S1 on a private plate so hard to date precisely if you don't know your Xantias!

I may very well pay a visit this year. ummed and arred about going to last year's and didn't.

You should do Matt, get in touch with me nearer the time and you'd be welcome to ride down there with me in the E-reg Sunny.

I'm booked-in.

We're hoping to coincide with Mr Wobbler in the Invacar, in some way at some point.

Has anyone else booked into the 'concours?' I don't know if my Royale saloon will be approved but it's certainly rare enough. It's far from mint condition but it's tidy.

If I get a bit of paintwork done on the Sunny I'd be tempted to put that in.

I've booked the moped in. There's absolutely no chance of it winning anything but I thought it would be a laugh! I suppose I might wash it beforehand at least.

Yes. I initially booked the R4 in to the classic parking as I'm not sure its good enough for concours but then decided what the hell and booked for concours anyway. Find out if we make the grade at the end of the month....

Dunno whether I'll come to this.

(just need to weld up the last corner, sort the dragging clutch and vague gear selection, get a mot and she's good to go).

Hello! This is my request for camping, final decision.

I'll turn up in the Saab, hopefully with a trailer borrowed from Talbot and the moped on it.

Boot full of beer and a small tent for the Saturday night.

Ta.

I will start a camping list closer to the time, just so I have some idea of numbers. Then for people who have never been before they can PM me for address, but please never write it on the forum because it is open to public viewing by anybody. If you need to plan your day now, just say Buckingham and you won't be far away.

If it's dry we have unlimited space, but if it is wet and we need to keep the cars on hard standing then it gets a bit tight for parking. There is still plenty of field for camping.

Due to the kindness of Zel, I will not require camping. I am looking forward to visiting the Field of Dreams again though!

Just praying the CX agrees to start on the Saturday morning....

Do any bikes generally turn up at this then?

Posted

Can't remember any last year, but the organisers seem happy to accept them (to be fair, I'd be unlikely to notice).

Tempting to bring the Prelude for classic parking, as a relative rarity (HML suggests 170 4th gen 2.0is left at my estimate). It's a '93 but for what it is and its cleanliness, I'm sure they'd make an exception.

I *think* you will be fine.  My 1993 Mercedes 190e was positively pushed into the chodpark in 2016; probably because the w201 is an 80s car.  I'm not so sure someone in a 1993 Mondeo in the same condition would have been afforded the same hospitality.  Perhaps.

Not a clue, but I checked with them via the Facebook page and they said they'd be happy to have it there.

Booked the Daf into the classic parking. It’s a bit scruffy for concours..

Will come to this but in the modern this time, park round the back in disgrace...is there any car-bothering planned for the Sunday? What’s the status of the green Visa?

Under a tarp the other weekend

I need to make some space for incoming CXs, yes two of them. One is my 11 year owned 2400 I/E Pallas which will not send signals to its injectors and the other is a rotten car I have agreed to buy for spares. All this is a long way of saying I have somebody who wants to buy the green Visa as is, trouble is they seem slow to collect it so I don't know for sure.

I am sure there will be some car bothering Sunday.

There's a new type of 'spectator' ticket now I think they have added this morning.
