Failed to get to the savvy memorial bridge today but I'm at linwood industrial estate again tomorrow (4am start - eugh) so I'll try again after I've woken up a bit in the morning.

Whereabouts? I may have a fuel run or twelve to do so may swing past if I'm in the vicinity.

oooo cdx alloys

i still got a wood dash and nob for one of these

Didn't realise they were cdx alloys, thought the cdx alloys where flat. Is the cdx auto knob different to the standard one?

A few times over the last week or so, some big weird planes have been flying south over our place. They fly slow and low, they have a BFO propeller at each end of the short wingspan. And a wide, flat tail thing.

I'm crap on planes, but they look proper Aeroshite. Any ideas?

They must be flying in a big clockwise loop - they're heading north when they fly over us. Around teatime usually. And yes, pretty low.

They're correct for the Vectra Arctic, I had a V6 one in 2001.  Some Tigras also had the same wheel but in 4-stud!

I think all shifters were the same, but the CDX just plastic wood in various places..

Vectra-B must be a relatively uncommon car nowadays.  I reckon they are up there as one of the fastest-scrapped cars of all time (along with the Mk5 Escort!)  Weirdly, I didn't think Vectras were very interesting to look at when they were current.. but I think they look great nowadays :)

William Tracey. I'm in the staff car park in front of the offices. I'll also be in the back asleep while their staff get on with all that "exhibitiony" stuff.

Mine has cupholders which are nigh on useless, better being a cubby hole I think! been to scrappy today and contemplating fitting face-lift grill, rear electric windows And dash from a cd model in there. Not sure how easy or hard mirrors and rear electric windows would be to fit as well as the rear reading lights

Grin or grump, not sure, but lets try and be positive.

As there is no Haynes for a Ford Puma then I found out that for just £9.99 you can download a Puma Manual from emanualsonline. So £9.99 duly paypaled and I am now downloading 5.8Gb of .rar compressed manual.

I think it is the complete Ford 2012 every car we've ever fecking built manual based on the file name, if so then bargaintastic.

I will find out in due course.

P.S. it will NOT be available for emailing out

Apparently the equivilant age fiesta book covers most things bar the engine. There was a max pooowah one for the puma I think, I never bothered, just used the knowledge on project puma

The green on that Escort is lovely, especially coupled with the brown bonnet.  Aren't the headlights weird without the trim?

Old Man bought a VAG one of these for a Polo we used to have and IIRC they do cover a wide range of cars.

Led a group of trail riders on the ke175 today . Most of them laughed at the ke until they realised they couldn't keep up most of the time or do some of the climbs 😖

Had a few drinks the other night. A bit sozzled, both me and Mrs_Pillock.

Me: "hey, now you're drunk, I could do anything I wanted"

Mrs_P: "You are not buying a Volvo."
