Well done on both. They might then start giving out the right parts :)

no, no, no, no, that wont happen cos he will have to have common sense nudgel removed, but at least we get someone real we can blame and call rude names

Seen Hayseed Dixie two or three times, they're the absolute business. I'll never forget my mate's missus face when they played Pool in a Jar.

No worries of that it's only a van driver job so no actual picking the parts for me

Bloody hell, just ran insurance quotes through regular companies online for the Princess and it's so cheap I could do it in a single annual payment.  This is a far cry from when I started with insurance and was struggling to make the initial down payment!

Just watched Rush for the first time. Loved it!

I think I need to watch it again to look for all the finer details of the support vans and things.

Brands Paul Monza Ricard Hatch got my continuity nose twitching though.

Think I saw a MK2 transit or something that didn't seem right but its been a while since I watched it.

Want to make money in an autoshite way? Start the worlds worst wedding car company. My friends sister is getting married, my friend said she'd hire a car, but she's tighter than... well, most autoshiters. So, I had a quick google and a chuckle,

This company starts off with a C-Class, which you may as-well go to Hertz and get a Mondeo at that point. £300 for three hours. (Actually I could hire an E-Class for £82.50 from Enterprise for the day, buy a cheap suit and do that job for £199!!!)

Dullness aside, lets see what else they've got. A Bramwith Barnsdale, which is a Sierra kit-car thing. Not offensive apart from the 11-inch wheels which give away the kit-car-ness.

A "baby Bentley", they have a Continental GT? Erm, nope.  "The numberplate reads bridal" No it fucking doesn't, it reads B121 DAL

I wasn't going to post this Beetle cabrio, but... This quirky wedding car boasts the private number plate which reads "WED US"

If I was the police, i'd pull the bride over on her wedding day. Because of the dodgy plate. (The plate doesn't show up on DVLA and it has a different plate in the pics, so is this the worlds worst showplate?

They also have a Boxster for £350 for up-to three hours.

..................

Maybe they're the only pointless wedding car company? Sadly not. "A choice of 2 cars. A white Rolls Royce Phantom type car, or an older style Bentley type car. "

Mitsuoka wedding car is tempting.

I think it is. That's a body kit/kit car thing that goes on the silver spirit and mulsanne.

First tank in the Kia, which has spent the last eight days in constant use with two 70* mph backroad hoons and at least one round trip to work per day, sometimes two, and all of them at warp factor eleventy...

39.6mpg. That's fucking astounding. I used to have a diesel Mondeo that wouldn't do that.

This one is based on a Bentley Turbo, but obviously the kits also fit a Silver Spirit, which to be fair is better than it being based on a 300C.

There are three minor faults with the car, firstly I have slightly caught the wheel arch on the nearside rear ( see photo no 10 ) although not detrimental for the car to be perfect it could do to be painted, I have had a quote for the work and it would cost about £450 to have fixed, the other two faults are both electrical, the drivers electric seat and drivers door electrical opener has stopped working this week. The price of the car reflects the work which would be needed to make the car perfect.

It was £28k, then 'sold non-payment' relisted at £20k, had zero bids.

Wedding cars is a funny old game. Some pretty strange and unlikely stuff seems to float peoples' boats. Here's our Imperial with a couple of unusual conveyances.

Was just sitting here having my usual pre Sunday dinner piss up...

Daughter rings...her mate has broken down just up the road and could I lend a tow rope. Well that's a challenge...

So I lift the bonnet just so I don't appear unhelpful.........and look for something familiar to hit. It's a 2007 Astra so it takes me a while to find something I recognise but eventually find a fuel pipe. Crack it off and get home to turn it over........little squib of fuel. Tighten pipe and off it goes.

No idea what was wrong but I R now hero......

Having £700 in my pocket and a space to park a car....... This can only end well / badly - depending on your views!

I did a very short stint as a wedding car driver. The bride was happy to be carried around in a C-class which as a driver, was pretty average. I reckon like you say a Titanium Mondeo would be a better bet. Also I was told I had to have my seat forward to give the back seat passengers room, so I was bloody uncomfortable.

Need a bit more sellotape on the S-type's plate...  ;)

What's the rather impressive modernist building on the left?

I really must try and remember who asked me to use the Princess as a wedding car if it were ready in time.  I thought they were very brave.

Did a wedding re-vow or whatever its called in the Minor for somebody once. They had used a Minor at their original ceremony. Think they may have been a bit smaller round the middle back then - I seriously thought one of them had got wedged when we reached the reception. Don't think I will be doing another...

It just so happens that I have a nice Forester Turbo for sale for the exact amount of money that you have in your pocket.  What are the chances eh?
