These are to make a better version of the bunker with a bit more detail as i made the one above from scratch.

Gives me something to do and makes me a few quid on Ebay.

(The molds are from one of Norm's folks - Hirst Arts).

The windows on newbuild houses are so bloody small. How is it not depressing to live in such a place?

Give me an unheatable old house with massive windows anyday.

Here's a good one from jobhunting.

"This is a fixed term post of unknown duration."

No doubt the person who wrote this will personally think that my skills are not high enough for an HR job in their organisation.

Depends how good you are at sitting around doing fuck all every day whilst pretending you're important

*This.

Dirty Harry said "Personnel, that's for assholes." He wasn't wrong. Where do I work...

I lost 25% of my pay this month as my employer decided to help me out by clearing up my outstanding tax for the year. No notice or anything and its put me in a bit of a spot.

However, my kids are watching TV quietly and I've got a chicken cup-a-soup on the go. Ahh, life aint so bad. Its times like this when I realise all I want is a bit of peace and quiet and a warm beverage to hand. And I have both!

Speaking as a payroll bod if you are PAYE they had no choice and since online tax changes came in no prior warning that the change would happen.

Building a perfectly adequate wheelchair ramp this afternoon from nothing but scrap timber, including a pallet and some scaffolding boards. Very pleased with myself.

Also, having Mrs Ramrod home to build it for!

I can't top Eddy on the cheshire cat scale... but I did see the Goodyear Airship :)

It flew over me the other week... I'm walking to the postbox and there's this buzzing noise I can't place. I look up and there's this massive Goodyear thing directly over my head.

Had an email about checking in online (scam) with my Ryanair flight next week.

A bit further down the email made me laugh:

"You can stay at a Hostel in Bratislava for £6 per night. BOOK NOW!"

I'll pass on that one thanks.

Finding a few pics from when we went rallying.

How's this for a random selection of stuff?

A quality shot sure enough Pete.

I've quoted it en bloc for Len's benefit. Happy happy times.

And bullying employees into accepting attendance policy terms that would make the Marquis De Sade blush. An often overlooked skill set essential in the role of hand relief.

Don't knock it, some of us have made a career out of it.

This is indeed grinworthy, Eddy - hope Mrs R's health continues to improve :D

Was just browsing the grumpy thread and trying to think of a good one for the morning, and tbh, I haven't really got anything of note to winge about today. And that doesn't happen very often, does it? Worthy of a grin in it's own right. :D

Edit: I take it back. Stoke v Blackburn in November has been moved from the monday night (when I'm off work) to the Saturday lunchtime (when I'm at work) and I've got no tossing holiday left for the year. Brilliant.

Chrome/carbon wrapped Metro on Fifth Gear!

It was super cheap too!

That's been hawked round quite a bit recently, I think he was trying to knock it out for around two grand or something daft to start with.

It's definately different and I suppose for that sort of money pretty reasonable for a unique car.

Would it be one of these I saw briefly yesterday, with Audi driving lights & tail lights?
