Do you think they'll get enough weddings to cover the cost of the graphics on those two prestige* wedding vehicles?

In general, no.

In Blackpool they would be booked up for years.

My cousin's wife's family own a taxi firm in Blackpool. Consequently they spend a goodly portion of their time in Dubai... Gits.

In other news, I just happened on to a trailer for a new BBC Three (so automatically of no interest to 90% of you lot) programme for a comedy (now 95%) which just so happens to include a beige Metro L in it! Called Together if anyone feels tempted.

I watched it, it wasn't laugh a minute but it was ok, I liked the end scene with the pacamac

Good call fella. Bet he did scuttle too.

Ive found Mouth breathers and scammers tend to aim for houses with ''Aids'' like ramps and grip bars outside the house - look like easy targets damn them - told my folks - anyone - I do mean anyone comes to your door and comes out with crap Phone me Im 5 minutes away, just say to them ''I''ll call my son he lives round the corner, talk to him'' and shut the door.

And Yes Faced with a big arsed ugly sod looking a cross between Greengrass and Compo - he scuttled!!

I've become even more of an anorak than I thought possible.

Living on the Stanstead Eastern Approach path I'm familiar with 737s and A320s at late night, and often the deeper, more mechanical grind of a 777 or A380 at higher altitude, but there are certain sounds that make my ears prick up. I heard a Dash-8 fly over earlier, we don't get many propliners but, ten minutes ago....

...It flies over about twice weekly, Flightradar 24 says usually from Frankfurt. This time I heard it from fifteen miles away. Got my phone out, was it? Yes. Antonov AN-26. Prime Ruskie 1982 Aeroshite right there.

I have serious problems.

Russian aircraft, especially prop powered ones, have a very distinctive sound.

I will say even if he has been known for the wrong reasons namely acting like a cunt, if a charity does gain from it thats brilliant

Double, nay triple take this afternoon on the way back to base.

Coming down the road past Brackmills Northampton a genuine 64 plate Lada Niva, lovely to see it, who sells 'em?

(back at the hospital for more baby related shennanigans) and I bought the 9 copies of classic and sports car with me that I gor given at sf15 and read. The look of delight on the waiting blokes faces was worth it, theres only old country life and waitrose magazines in the waiting area, not anymore!

Just been given a 'new' walking stick. I was sharing a mutual whinge with a friend (he's in a BAD way :(  ) and he left only to return a couple of minutes later with this cane.

Lovely ornate wooden stick with carving and brass details and it's the right height for me as well... bonus.

Jokingly I asked: 'how do you get the sword out?'

So he showed me! Fuck me, about 12 inches of mega sharp blade hidden inside the blade - you twist the brass ferrule and lift and it's out. I could do some serious damage with this bugger....

Went to my mates place today to help him clean out/clean up his wife's Focus.

He hasn't got a need for it and it was just a runaround for her. He'll be giving it to his niece now which was nice of him.

It cleaned up lovely and I will pop over again in a few days to finish it off. It's just odd her not being around :(

The neighbours had a whip round and raised enough money for him and the two kiddies to go away for a weekend to Centre Parks or the like :) Ace neighbours :)

The kiddies seem to be handling the loss of mum quite well at the moment. Mate is getting by.

I asked him to consider a memory scrapbook for the kids as they are only young and it would help them to keep mum in mind as they grow older.

It was a nice day given the circumstances and it kept my mate busy :)
