Got on a tram in Budapest and went to the end of the line because that's what I do.

You never know what your going to find. I found this.

And there was a Felicia outside. Also note the early Swift photo bombing, the national car of Hungary, good to see they're still around.

Plus its about 25° outside. It doesn't get any better than this.

Shocking amount of Swifts still kicking around there!

Shame that the railway to here is not operational yet. Supposedly soon though.

I've seen several so far but quite a few less than three years ago. Still more than Felicias and Favorits in ČZ so they are hanging on well. Saw a bright shiny gold one which looked fabulous. No picture unfortunately.

I look forward to that, I might come and visit you then! I shall be in Szeged on Tuesday if this all goes to plan which will be the closest to Serbia I have been.

I like Steve Marsh, he's one of the few of those sort of things I watch. His favourite story of mine was when he was hanging round Bucharest Gara du Nord and started getting hassled by some chancer who asked where he was from. Steve replied Scotland. The bloke disappeared and five minutes later found him again (which is no mean feat itself at Gara du Nord) and produced a Scottish five pound note and offered to sell it to him!

Who has Scottish money in Romania and where did he go to get it?

My Lanchester Youtube vids convinced someone else to go out and buy one, so that's an achievement.  Also the most recent in the Lanchester series is now my best performing vid having ticked over 4,000 views in under a week.  My channel doesn't even have 1,000 subscribers yet, so I consider that quite an achievement.  It's a shame that none of those views are going to translate into income, need a few more subscribers and viewing hours to get to that point, and a lot more to be earning a meaningful amount.

Just as well I do the vids mostly for fun and self-promotion, rather than profit.

Channel here, because hey I might as well pimp it outsince I've mentioned it: https://www.youtube.com/@noexpensespentstudios

Get in the sea you say? OK

A small flash of chrome can be seen on the jeep's rear bumper, left of the spare tire (NOAA)

Found by a ROV inside the wreck of an American aircraft carrier  USS Yorktown.

I have a pact with a former colleague of mine, we play Popmaster every day and we agreed that if we ever scored 39, we'd email in. I assumed it would never happen.

Managed it on round 2 today. Pleased but now that means I've got to do it!

They've asked for ideas on the identity of that car, it's a bit of a mystery why a car would be taking up valuable hanger space on an aircraft carrier.

Possibly the Admiral's personal vehicle?

Owen had an unknown coolant leak and without a temperature guage cooked the engine a couple of weeks back. It sound like a tractor with a death rattle. I told him to just drive it till it shit itself then we'd fit a new enging. Anyway three weeks later it shredded it's aux belt putting him off the road. I ordered a new one from amazon and he set to stripping the old one off after watching a youtube video. He then discovered the water pump had failed finding the source of the leak and the death rattle which was a right result. He stripped the pump off in preparation all without any advice or assistance from me.

Well fucked.

Random: Scottish-issued pounds are notoriously hard to get rid of in the exchange offices here, as no one has ever seen them before. I learned this the hard way as I was stuck with some 300 of them and couldn't exchange them anywhere.

I swapped for England-issued ones the next time my brother was around, and I got those changed easily.

Also proved problematic to exchange - pre-indestuctible paper pounds. Which actually reminds me, I should get rid of these as well and send them back home.

Me, I think I still have a green one pound note somewhere, gotten some 20 years ago as change in Glasgow.

Never got 30+. Varies wildly between single figures and mid twenties.
