You're welcome to. Hairnet took a short ride in it and can attest to its Frenchness.

It'll be here. I can't see anyone else wanting to buy it, and it's now tucked away well out of public view.

@PhilA Look can't you tell I am a mouth breathing timewaster ?

but if you want to respray it and do a full mechanical overhaul and put it in a container for £500 I could be interested ?

45 minute paint job. Looks like it, too. Don't like painting silver but it looks better than it did.

It runs, I painted it. What more do you need? Heh

An Alliance Renner would be a unicorn in the UK; instant obscurity cred at any car show.

I've had this rusty tube kicking around for years. It's not much use for anything so it was going to be scrapped.  Today I finally made some use of it.

Rusty pipe, some scabby 6mm plate, an old tin of Matt laquer and a mig welder later.

Assume this is to appease Mrs £95 following the arrival of the Gilbern?

It's like having Stanley Unwin as Ambassador.

I was worried for a bit, I thought that was what she had gone shopping in, you pinched it back, so she had to go home on the bus to find he'd bought a Gilbern.

I'm off to Somerset in the morning to visit my parents.  Haven't seen them since Christmas, and apart from a brief foray over the border to Bury St Eds to pick up a pushbike I haven't been out of Norfolk for over three months.  I'm properly looking forward to it.

I enjoy SiC's musings on his MGB, and the most recent video was good- everyone loves a good cold start video.

So, I felt compelled to do my own, a tribute to an MGB cold start.

*grin*

Conversation with the boss at work.

'My new driving lights for the Pug came last night, they're yellow'.

'Get some yellow headlights while you're at it'.

'Way ahead of you'.

I wouldn't swap where I work for much at all right now.

This made me smile a few weeks ago.

Or at least it did for the first few hundred miles. Then the straight started to wear a little.
I’m working in a new place next week. The drive is 1000 miles (well just under) and 13hrs of actual driving each way!!!

If you’re planning on commuting daily, I’ve got some bad news.

I was going to ask if you would deliver ?

4,429 mi

Distance from Louisiana to United Kingdom

If @PhilA finds something old with a V8 to share the container for around £4k I'll half in on the shipping costs?

Freight not cheaper than that at the moment? Should be with the oil price where it is.

For RORO you are looking at $840 for a small car at the moment.
Shipping out of the UK is $150 for destination charge and then tax upon landing.
I can’t imagine it would be much more going back the other way (US to UK).

Don’t ask me how I know as the wife will kill me ;)
