busmansholiday Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Last night Mrs BMH sent me up the street with a couple of quid for some veg (squash) being grown / and sold by a neighbour. Chatting with them they asked which was our house (we are on a main road so it's sometimes difficult to know who's who) so I pointed. Ah, the house with all the cars in the drive!!! stonedagain, louiepj, DSdriver and 1 other 1 3
sierraman Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Hopefully there’s a future shiter in my eldest. She’s six and told me she likes dads old car and listening to the cassette tapes. Apparently Elton John ‘I don’t want to go on with you like that’ is her new favourite song.

The Fox rescue gang nipped up from Tunbridge Wells and got him out with the aid of a blanket. That's the best thing I've read on this thread in while. Cavcraft Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Caught some prick fly tipping a couple of weeks back. Made him pick up what I saw him chuck and put it into his car, but unfortunately there was some other stuff he'd hidden which I missed. Took the missus to work last night, familiar looking vehicle going down a drive way. Picked her up this morning, same car (which rang a bell from somewhere) was coming out of the same drive way. Guess who it was? Someone's getting their shit back with a bit of interest on top early one morning. Jerzy Woking, twosmoke300, Semi-C and 26 others 23 6

Saabnut Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Still grinning! Only an idiot who tolerates Scottish summers (the rain is slightly warmer) would still be grinning. Wack Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 I've just come back along the M56 in the van with all the windows open, it's awful, fan is blowing hot air in your face while the usually cooler air coming in the side windows is just the same , couldn't wait to get out of it Got tickets for carfest north tomorrow , I'm really hoping it cools down a bit
