I bet if you told them that there was some health advantage to doing it they'd be at it like a dug eating beetroot.

Has anyone got any knowledge of these pinto to rx8 gearbox adaptors? It seems like a great idea given how expensive type-9's are and how many dead rx8's there are.

It's 125 quid for the adaptor and you'd need to buy the box and get custom prop shaft made and there's some fanny around trying to get it to fit but all in all is it going to be that much more expensive

and you get a nice snickety six speed box. WANT,

The pscoplate bod seems to get a lot of complaints,or just takes money off people

Pretty much ... Harvesting them is always a challenge ...

In slightly related news I discovered there are some strange people in the world that have never licked a 9v battery.

Did a session on self reflection and there was a study that showed 3/4 of men and 1/4 of women in this study would rather get a shock off a 9v battery rather than spend 15 minutes reflecting on their day.

About 1/3 of the class never had licked a battery...

I was telling the Mrs this and it turns out that I am married to a weirdo!

A few years ago I went to a stage rally on fleetwood promenade, I've never seen so much dog shit in all my life, loads of chavs with their trophy dogs shitting everywhere, utter scum

Yes but the chap that runs the ferry that crosses the estuary does doughnuts if you ask him nicely. As in , going round in circles, not cakes...

I've read if you get a different bigger output shaft seal for the box you can use the original type 9 prop end

Just got invited to go on Judge Rinder! I don't think so, but amusing nonetheless. The 'Free Volvo' video appealed to them apparently.

Likewise.

From Wikipedia:

"His courtroom includes a gavel and flag of the United Kingdom, neither of which are used in British courts but are on display in American courts and televised court programmes, and his show has been criticised as "Jeremy Kyle set in a small-claims court".

Get in the fucking sea, Rinder.

PLEASE have a re-think, Ian!

Yeah, don't. Especially if you are easy to spot in the street!

As I've got bugger all paid work on the shed roofs have been re felted, the hedge has been cut and I managed to find a new wood to walk the dog in that would be fantastic on a trials bike, unfortunately it's owned by a charity so bugger all chance of that ever happening :( the wood was big enough for me to get disorientated in too - we came out about a mile down the road from where we wanted to be!

The dogs tired out for the rest of the day anyway, it was wierd though - supposedly ancient woodland but not a single animal apart from a solitary squirrel, not much bird song either.

A few times recently my shite spotting ability has made me grin.

The first was a Dolomite, I spotted it in the distance at night while I was still a fair way behind and said to myself - I'm sure that's a Dolomite.  Back of my mind I knew it probably wouldn't be, I mean what are the odds?  At this range it could be just about anything, but the overall dimness said it was something old and the shape just said Dolomite.  I purposely caught it up and sure enough, a Dolly 1500.

The 2nd was a relatively easy spot, a fairly well beaten Capri on the motorway on the way home from work.  I've since seen this on numerous occasions at around the same time so I can only surmise it is someone's daily drive.  Bravo that man.  It looks friggin tiny in modern traffic!

And finally this week I spotted a Mk2 Cavalier Estate on the way to work, immediately ID'd at around 500 yards approaching head on.  Then I saw the same one coming out of a house along that road this morning towing a trailer - so it appears this too is still earning an honest living.
