I did think about filming my trip, but I did that when I went to Düsseldorf and didn’t do anything with the footage. I should really, as I recorded both the drive and the telemetry from the OBD2.

For my troubles I brought back a case of white and red Portuguese wine, 6 bottles of olive oil and a baby on the way.

Club rallying at Aintree in 1984...

A world apart from pro rallying at the time, no Nomex suits, no flame spitting Group B cars and no picture quality either. Did you know the short club circuit at Aintree still exists and is used mainly for sprint events and the odd motor bike race? I didn't!

I had been following the exploits of this car and owner over on the Reliant Sabre & Scimitar owners club forum, the owner Mikey was always fixing something on it and occasionally sprinting/hill climbing the thing. Now you can view it in rather amusing video form..

If you watch the video he did regarding the Merc GLA he had as a hire care from Enterprise and his attitude towards them and the tyres, it’ll go a long way to explaining the problem with him.

Also comments regarding people who use ad blockers, like we’re the problem.

I don't need to find more reasons! It's just his presenting style overall. I can be quite picky with presenters, which is a shame because JayEmm has some decent subject matter. Similar with Number 27, tests some cars I'd really like to watch and hear about; just not from him.
