Trigger - If you can't work out wheel and tyre sizes then use something like this.

Find the sizes which are slightly taller/wider than yours and then try them in mytyres.co.uk or blackcircles to figure out which is cheapest.

Getting a slightly wider tyre may make the steering slightly heavier.

Getting a taller tyre will raise your gearing, give you slightly better mpg and make your speedo read too slowly.

The speedo thing isn't an issue (it probably reads too fast at the mo), you can accurately check your speed using a sat nav or free app for your phone.

BMW has gone. It's been bought by a kid off the blue.

My BMW ended on ebay this afternoon but it didn't make it's reserve. I think it's time to change tact so I'm going to sell the car and wheels seperately. I've still got the old 16" wheels, which I'll stick on the car and re-advertise it at  700 quid or something. Hopefully the wheels should make up the difference.

Think BMW should change their name to crabs, they're fun to get but a right twat get shut of.

Mine got picked up today, sold for the princely sum of £460.......it's getting raped to re-engine a 325 tourer with a blown donk.

I bloody hate that truck, and the excitement it invokes in people. A drinks brand tries to hijack a religious festival and people go mad for it. I really can't understand why. Mind you, I do hate Coca Cola and all it stands for, so I may suffer some bias.

Haha, you're right. I think there are people out there who'll pay good money for them but the want low mileage Montola ones in just the right spec. Mine is great car but I just bought it on a whim like a total fud.

Bang on, DW. My daughter has been raving about it and I asked her what th big deal was. Seemingly it means Christmas is coming. That's sad for many reasons, mostly because people associate some pissing company with something like Christmas. It's actually mental to think people would queue up or go out of their way to see that (no offence, Marty) imho.

I hope that fucking truck breaks down and the alternator packs up.

I think the festival finds it's history in being hijacked, wasn't it a pagan festival before the Christians tea-leafed it?

Drum: You are just rubbing it in now. Stop before I'm forced to pooh through your letterbox as a way of a dirty protest.

Meh.

I just went to take some photos, the steps of the Harris were open today which meant I was able to climb out on one of the plinths (which are gr9 if you want to take a nose dive into the flag market from to throw a 7) and get some photos of the newly renovated cenotaph which you cant really do from ground level...

Aye, Christmas has always evolved. Unable to quash it, the Christians just absorbed it instead. But that's just evolution really. It's the sharing of a picture of the truck round-robin style on Faceache that really grates. Well done people, you're just advertising a really unhealthy drink produced by a faceless corporation for no cost to them.

Used 4 small screwdriverd to remove the stereo in transit to find code number written on top. Job Jobbed.

On other hand went to collect an excercise machine from freecycle and realised that normal sized transits aren't that big. Had to take it to bits to get it in. Going to lob some veg in tomorrow and see how it goes.

Remember veg doesn't like the cold you might end up with a tank full of veggie lard

Apparently, the only reason "Father Christmas" wears red is because of CocaCola marketing from the early 20th century. He was traditionally in green before that.

TBH I hate pretty much everything about the festive season, not least the fact it now seems to start officially in November.

Why is Coke hated so much? I'm not clued up on it.

Don't get them mixed up. Trannies do not run on vag unless they're from Wigan.

Nipped out for Fish and Chips at the weekend.

To Whitby.

300 mile round trip, came home with horrible, blowy rattly exhaust.

Bloody pricey chips they'll be.
