Just surveyed a building for rogue wifi signals... one of them was called "AS-Wi-Fi" :D

I used to see one called 'Pretty fly for a wifi'.

The R8 of H8 needs at least one of the rear inner arches welding, as I've found when trying to bleed the rear  brakes.

Balls - anyone good with a sparkly stick (or do any north west shiters know a decent priced bodyshop?

Also, if I'm doing that I'd want the rust bleb on the rear driver's arch sorting too, but that needs paint...

Saw a couple of Land Rovers on development runs on the M1 at lunchtime.

The indicators were really, really obscured though. To the point of it not really being very safe.

Oh well. Added a little excitement to my daily j6-15 run.

One good pic, one not so.

I think it may be a Range Rover Velar.

Not as low as when I filled the 205 with pizza dough. It's already lowered so it was amusingly close to the ground.

I wish I had a photo, it made the front look even higher than usual.

I've seen "Wu Tang Lan" which I thought was rather good.

New Disco is another possibility.

I saw one of the new Discos in traffic today. Are they out yet? Frankly it looked crap - it's got the tapered end of the Range Rover, which doesn't work, and the offset rear number plate just looks like it's been fitted on the wonk.

When I returned from Cannock on Saturday night Mrs 6C had been testing the load capacity of a ZX, compost in this case.

Does the beam good to be loaded though! Mine loosened up loads on the green zx after collecting some paving slabs from ebay once

Got few days off so thought id crack on and look at my blowing exhaust, i knew there was a blow from were centre meets rears as centre is 1.8 and smaller bore than the 2.5 v6 rear boxes, so i thought id fit the sleeve ive cut months ago, well whilst laying underneath i looked down and thought that looks sooty, turns out pipe rotted round the flange joint luckly this was my homemade straight throught section and i still had the nearly new centre section in the shed..!

2cv passed its MOT!  Always stresses me out, as it seems to cost a fortune one year and sail through another. Sent my Dad and my mechanic to sort it as I was working, just needed a battery - result!

Now I must get around to sorting the moped tyre that was borderline illegal at mot, and has had a puncture for months. Not a big problem, but I use it everyday!

I said exactly the same about the wonky plate. It's not far enough off center to look deliberate.

Also I'm not sure why we need the Disco, Velour, Evoke and Actual Range Rover all of which seem to be within about 2ft of each other in length.

Nice fix.

If it were me I'd turn those clamps so that the bolts aren't sticking down.

Today I organised a meeting with my fellow directors of Full Throttle Classifieds dot com

We want to take on ebay, autotrader and MCN and advertise 20,000 bikes (at any one time) at 1/2 the price of the cheapest of these thieves and bullies, whilst donating 20% to a bikers charity, which gives out grants to injured bikers to modify their chosen steed.

It is clear that

  • our website isn't ready for testing
  • We have no money for marketing and advertising
  • we now have a plan
  • I need to contact 10,000 dealers and bike forums whilst Paul, our IT monkey, gets the website working, properly, and offer them a crowd funding deal which gives investors equity, in exchange for free adverts for ever.
  • I have never ever sold anything in my life.

For all my bravado, I think we might struggle to take on Autotrader Plc with a budget that is less than they spend on urinal bleach blocks.

Still this time next year Rodney we'll be millionaires. Maybe. Note - I have a small stake so if we make £1million quid I can afford to stop doing the current day job and do that instead.

First off good luck, the only concern I see is you are approaching probably 80% (Guess) of your market offering them one off payment for all their listing of stock forever.

Can you get the advertising in on a sliding scale (pence per visit) with motorcycle gear sellers (clothing, helmets and all the rest) just a fresh viewpoint and no I have no idea how I would do it.

Finally, good luck!

I'm a web based software developer at work! Not qualified or owt but been doing it a few years. If you need a hand out of hours with stupid monkey testing, uat or testing to spec let me know! Would be happy to help and I might learn something.

I've bought another car, that I don't really want.

Anyone want a fun little 1.0 Auto, 34k miles?

Apparently that V reg Rover 620 Ti is available again and I've now been offered it for £400 delivered with no mot, the last mot 2 years had a advisory for a corroded rear brake pipe which a mate thinks involves removing the fuel tank to change.

I'm not sure it's worth the effort as they don't seem to be worth sod all so i might pass on it.

I have to say, I can highly recommend Rover 600 ownership - mine is growing on me by the day, its very nice to drive.

Proper British torque steer, though. No one will be able to foam as quickly as you.
