10 mins (no surprise there) :)

Thank God Footman James were not able to provide cover, or probably would have been down to see Matthew for a fourth time.

Is it going to be a Ovlov replacement

If it falls through let me know!

Ffuuuuuuuuck. That's some good buying/selling. Well done all concerned.

No surprise it went in 10 minutes at that price!

The amount of car per £ is phenomenal value!

I was 2nd highest bidder on that last week. Sold at £460 and immediately relisted. Didn’t even get an email.

I hope you got it for £100 less. That’ll hopefully learn ‘em.

^ interesting, 342 this time. Didn't bid but was very tempted.

Originally up as a classified ad @ £2,750

Congrats B5 1.8 buyer! Mine (turbo'd version of same) continues to be absolutely drama free - with the slight exception of a recent unpleasantness vis-a-vis driver's side window regulator. But the fix cost £2.79.

It's far from exciting, but sometimes that's absolutely fine by me.

The rear lights on those facelift Beetles actually make me angry. Did they really pinch the design of them from the Chevrolet Matiz? They look utterly shit.

But, I'm amazed at how much I like these otherwise...

Only the Austin looks like an ebay listing, so hopefully that!

I have no idea which you have bought, but they'd all get my vote, although I doubt that I would be able to fit in any of them

Caterham would be the most expensive thing bought on this thread and very impractical. Cheapest seem to all run way above 10k. Lotus, if cheap, would be fucked and non runner - plus HMC has kids and wouldn't fit in it (same on caterham). So I suspect it's the Austin.

This thread just got sexy.

On edge of sofa here.....

I still reckon the Austin. Probably still driving it back the 20 something, slow miles he bought it from.

What did I do next?

Is the answer - sold your MX5 to me for an insultingly small price before collecting a Caterham and setting the land speed record across Exmoor on the way home?
