Also - buy one of these.  Your back will thank you.

The engineer in charge of ergonomics for the T4 cannot possibly see why this would be necessary :

Wow that's ace! Given the colour is it an ex taxi?

If so, just watch out for Joni Mitchell trying to sneak your dad off in it.....

P.S.  A typical day yesterday of old shitey T4 ownership. Went to give it an oil change and noticed it had a burst cv boot. No problem. Went to change the CV boot and noticed a lower ball joint needed replaced. Ordered new bottom ball joint, collected it, went to fit it. Wrong one. Took it back and got correct one. Fitted it. Quick oil change turned into full days work.

Do you want a set of insulated front blinds? I used them once! Front screen, two side windows.

I do you nice price boss: they cost me £70 new.

That's fucking ace.  I am very tempted to call another trip to the equator in the near future

Just thinking the same. Though I don’t know about the “yellow car no punchbacks” every time we leave the house 😂

Looks a tidy one, @HMC.

I'm surprised no-one has shared this yet though.

Takes me straight back to the 90s, student days and special* crunch corner yoghurts.

Why sell the P6 and the range rover?

Basically to make way for a vw Caravelle. In yellow. As approved by @bunglebus

Nice colour! Is it a 1,9 or a 2,5? Ones sorted they are really reliable and practical. I love mine.

Nice T4!

There was one very similar to that (spec/trim/colour/age)for sale in my village until a few months ago when I think it got moved on.

Story went that it was sold about a year ago no problems - buyer went to drive it away and the cambelt snapped almost instantly, leading to a quickly cancelled sale and an expensive repair bill for the seller before it could be sold again!

Was wondering if it was the same van? (can't remember the reg though)

Don't talk about failed T4 sales on here, you'll give @JJ0063 PTSD...

Apologies - that's not a story I am aware of!

It involved a PTSD suffering butcher who bought it without test driving then came back almost crying (literally)  because the temp gauge hadn’t got up to temp in the first 3/4 mile of leaving my house. I gave him his money back as couldn’t be bothered with the hassle.

Week later I sold it to a copper who then messaged me every other day for a week to moan that the fuel gauge wasn’t accurate and that the starter motor wasn’t very good.

Worst car sales experience I’ve ever had.

I’ll be honest the PTSD butcher was probably the biggest error.

Best thing to do on those is swap out the injectors for better ones (original ones were Stanadyne rather than Bosch on the 102 and 150 versions) and get a mild remap - they are very restricted on the fuelling.

The intercooler on the 102s are pretty useless (too small and in the hottest part of the engine bay) - a larger FMIC can have a benefit once the fuelling is sorted.

Swap out the 5th gear ratio as well for better cruising - this can be done in situ on a ramp.

I don't think there's anyone on this forum who hasn't bought at least 2 cars from @HMC !
