Is the 24 hour brasshouse open in Bootle? Do you know any numbers active for beak at 3am? Will you do a cash up front wait and return to Tranmere as I've got to "drop off some keys" to a mate. See above question for the real reason. Is that still on Canal St ? asking for a friend Coprolalia and warren t claim 2
warren t claim Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Back in 2004/5 I spunked over twenty grand on a similar TX2 auto, a 2003 Bronze spec and it was plagued with build quality issues LTI wouldn't fix. Somewhat surprisingly I still see it around today, still Ford powered but with a manual box fitted. Lacquer Peel 1
warren t claim Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 To be fair, my TX2 was by far and away the worst built TX1/2 I've ever owned or driven. Rust breaking through at less than two years old and the steering damper problems made driving it feel like piloting a TR7 ragtop with severe corrosion induced scuttle shake. Utterly dog slow and struggled to hit 70 on the flat as well as barely managing more than 20mpg. My fault for buying an ex Scottish cab that had been treble shifted for the first 18 months/two years of its life. Still much more reliable than the Reliant Scimitar Picasso diesel that was the Metrocab auto I owned though. somewhatfoolish, Barry Cade and Lacquer Peel 1 2
