Hey that looks really tidy Ratdat.

It's not too bad on the outside but needs completely re-fitting inside and some wood framework repairs. Tows lovely behind the 16 though and even the brakes work. It's 12'6" and 620kg so I reckon it's about the right size for the 16.

There is still one of those LDV's running round Leeds as an NHS emergency ambulance. Sure the suspension is GR8 4 BROK BAKS

Christ, you'd be dead before you got to hospital... probably of old age.
LDV ambies and riot vans had Rover V8s, so not that slow! It was the Mk5 transits that killed people, shortly after they went to the Epic and fly by wire, they cut out at inopportune moments......

Airbags on the rear axles too, or am I thinking of Renner Masters perhaps?

That's a lot of money for a big pile of shit.

what is going on with that spoiler?
MG RV8 nosecone/spoiler?
Nope. There is a company selling those 'improvement' bumpers for rubber bumpered MGBshite.

Too pricey for a car that could never be as good (IMO) as a Lada!

I've only just noticed this-and it truly is a thing of beauty- but what's going on with the overspray around the quarterlights and the chrome trim up the windscreen pillars? Looks a bit amateurish-and worrying- for such a lovely car.

His eBay location is spitting distance from me, a short walk over the fields yonder *points to field*.Never heard of any XR2 "specialists" around here though, or any centres for blind car modifiers either. Don't recognise the location in any of the pictures either.

Hey panda, it's a 'Four wheel drive' according to the seller, must a rare Russki prototype, you will have to shell out considerably more than 400 notes for such a rare historical vehicle

Much rather a Trevi than all this Russian shite - did it have something really wrong with it because £850 would have been a steal?

Plus you wouldn't have had to worry about banger racers nicking it with the nightime Hiab fairy  .

FFS, the twat seller can't even read the badges that say '145' !

£445 for a non tax exempt 145 estate with no Mot and not much chance of getting one without major work? - thats a pre 68 banger racer with money to burn bidding on that!

I love the povo spec 309 though, thats a thing of beauty :D .

Shitting nora, someone paid £400 for that turdbox!
Seller is commonly known on the XR2 forum as being a bona fide grade-A cockmaster.
Who is the seller mate? PM if prefer.
I'll let a friend from Scotland do the talking

A muppet called Sean Keeling who shafted loads of Ford owners outa cash a few years back he ran a company callea Fiesta world in North Ants area

He has crawled back into the hole he came out of and yes i was one of the muppets he did out of money he cost me 2.5k

Most of the guys who have been around a long time know what happend

Would be a bit pointless as it's from 1974...

Yeah and it looks a bit better than banger material anyway. Be awesome to fit the engine and box from a torslanda in there, could probably do it in a weekend, then you could rack up 30k a year @ 30mpg in it no sweat.
