Reminds me of the episode of his chat show when he had Coulthard on...pulled out a copy of the Autotrader to ask DC's opinion on a Daimler Sov he'd seen in there. Class.

There's an car identical to that round here - registration 'J17 PUB' - unfortunately I don't know if its owned by a actual publican now, but the likelihood if it being owned by one some time in it's life is extremely high!

Blimey, that's almost the spit of my old F plater 998cc LS (except that was a 3 dr) even down to the rust repair on the bottom corner of the driver's door!

I really miss that car for some reason. I know it wasn't much compared with most other things on the road, but it was very dependable A-B transport. I once got it up to an indicated (and comfortable) 95mph! On a slight downhill stretch of dual carriageway, and breaking the law obviously  .

My brother inherited it when I bought the GSA, and it was repeatedly vandalised when he took it to Southampton Uni. It ended up having both door mirrors smashed off, then my mum rang to say it had been trailered away because she thought it would be too expensive to repair. I would have taken it back under my wing and repaired it with bits off eBay it if I'd been given the chance  RIP F*** TGM

Cherry rear lights?

Am I the only one who thinks it's hilarious that things like that are actually allowed on the roads? I don't think you could get away with chopping up the wife's sideboard, re-assembling it into something vaguely car-shaped and and wanging in an engine in any other country in the world.

What's the obscure jap import Nissan thing parked in front of it?

1988 Toyota Corolla Levin

"If no buyer found, this car will be scrapped due to current scrap value" - Good luck with that!

Never seen one of those typre Levins before, but the seller's going about it all wrong. Item title should read "NOT AE86 OLD SKOOL DRIFT LEVIN COROLLA TWIN CAM RWD" and a start price of 5 grand.

Or maybe not. I just noticed it's front wheel drive. Oh well...

 I like that horrendous timber contraption, just for how mind-bendingly awful it is!Wouldn't a 1750 engine make it rather scarily fast?

Oooh that Sunny van is tempting me, what a useful little thing that would be. Seems reasonably priced if it definitely is as good as it looks in the pics.

The green saloon made me chuckle. It's identical to mine except that it's the Maxima. That means all you get are naff wheeltrims, cheesey 80s decals down the side and the cheapest, crappest sunroof they had in stock :P
