First the Stanza, now these two! What's going on, some sort of attempt to get me to buy a better car?! The Bluebird sounds thoroughly interesting, no money though. Xedos 9 will follow when they're an utter crock and no one wants them anymore.

In other news, that Celeste is an absolute horror, I hope it goes round the oval to put it out of its misery. R.I.P!

That Atessa thing has astonishingly wank styling, looks like a 'Philippines market only' job or somthing that you would see in the background of one of KruJoe's shots, next to a fish stall or summert.

Last one for tonight - a beautiful Honda Concerto! Leather chairs, 16v twink, full history, £500. Lovely.

It's a lovely car but I don't like the sound of that driver's swab!

Seriously, I'd slap a bid on if I had some wonga.

Leather finish on the steering wheel worn off after 40,000 miles - give me a break!

Ooh, lightbar-tastic.

I understand that one of these cars were used in one of the Arnold Swartzeneger movies by Arnold

Yes indeed, that would be Last Action Hero. "'89 Mercury Sable, standard driver's side airbag. Checker Cab, no airbag! Give me your clothes and your motorcycle, etc"

What are those Perdanas all about? I thought Proton's Head Offices were based in Bristol, although I assume the cars dock in Hull first...

GET ON THAT, DAN HIRST!If you buy a Daewoo Espero I will send you two packets of congratulatory Malted Milk* biscuits as a reward. *Notes on Malted Milk. In our house these are referred to as Cow Biscuits, and are devoured by the children like there's no tomorrow.

The ones from Morrisons come in a black & white packet & are actually called Cow Biscuits.

I am starting to wonder where the hell he gets them all from. Had a 9,000 mile Imp a while back too. Remember the Marina too, it was around the same time.I think he does a fair bit of work to them but they all seem genuine (all good feedback and all very pricey). Someone on the Imp club forum thought they spotted a slight bit of overspray on the Imp doorseal. However it must take some time to get them looking that good and judging by the prices he gets its probably time well spent. Might ask if he needs an apprentice.

I think I might have an idea of what he does, I have a mate who does more or less the same, he finds these cars through contact etc...buys them, cleans them up, does a little rectification here and there and sells them, hence they are not restored versions but more or less original with a few small rectifications.

He says this in ad, I've shortened it but it gives an idea:

ORIGINAL V RESTORED - OUR VIEW

We endeavour, on the whole, to offer original, genuine, exceptionally low mileage and unrestored cars from the 1970,s and 1980,s.

Almost all cars from this era have had a little paint rectification carried out at some time during their 20-40 years. However there is, of course, a huge difference between rectification of paint work and total vehicle restoration.

Paint rectification at the factory post production line or, indeed, by the supplying dealer was common in the 70’s and 80’s when most cars were sprayed by hand as opposed to today’s automated processes. From time to time we will offer a car that has had some paint rectification for these reasons or perhaps to localised areas following parking mishaps etcetera.

Occasionally we may offer a car that has had rather more paint rectification although we will always endeavour to make this known in the description. It will be very rare however for us to offer a car that has had a full restoration, and only then if we have satisfied ourselves of the quality of the work.

Ont' trader. Wakefield area code, 50k, T+T, £395. Sorry H! :D

I've seen that parked at side of't road in Wakefield. It's on the right hand side heading out of the centre up towards Pinderfields hospital and Andrew Pages. Looked all right. It's been for sale for ages. Think it was up at £795...
