Well this fine piece of motoring excellence is up for sale. Only 3 owners . 75,000 miles. Sticker for last service at 72,000 miles. Anyway I got it to save it being broke. It drives fine although brakes need a firm press. Rear roof lining a bit saggy but unmarked.only one key but unchipped I think so cheap. Its the 1.6 auto with the honda engine and gearbox. I think its had the fuel injector thingy replaced see photo. Apparently common.leccy sunroof and window's, radio cassette, rear wiper, towbar. Has s few scrapes on bumper corners. Seats a bit saggy but bloody comfy. Drives very well. Fan cuts in and works. Bodywork very nice. Tyres ok but rears have a few cracks, spare is fine. Allmin all a nice little daily. I have insured it for a month so you can drive it home. No tax. Log book isn't back yet but hss been applied for. No bills or paperwork but it does have a national trust sticker so doesnt need any. I would like £240.00 please which would give me my pennies back. Car isin merseyside just off m62.post-19805-0-47887000-1498646896_thumb.jpg

Brakes sound similar to mine, they must be just a bit inefficient (Old Man is convinced there's something wrong with mine, but likes pulling ideas out of his arse). And yes the key isn't chipped so it's super easy to get another, supermarket Timpsons huts will do one for you in a couple of minutes.

Bargain that.

Get the drums off and check out the cylinders - my cab had a shitty brake pedal and failed MoT on rear brake efficiency - it's much better now.

I'm in the same boat as Joloke. Right car worng time.

On the look out for a cheap small ish Auto for the wife, but need to get rid of a couple of cars first.

Any interest in a manky Rover 75 Auto diesel saloon. :)

Good shout. No-one ever bothers looking at rear brakes. My 2CV was improved MASSIVELY once I replaced the wheel cylinders and actually freed off the pivots. Must do likewise on the Perodua. And Proton. And Bluebird. And Honda...

That looks lovely, I enjoyed driving the one I had recently, it felt like absolute luxury compared with the lada.

This is difficult because it's a much better car than mine cosmetically (paint, rust blebs, hasn't been driven into something), albeit with 15000 more miles. Longer MOT too... Sort of tempted to get it and put the good bits off mine on to it, then try and sell mine on eBay.

Purplebargeken?

Just bought two cars in as many weeks, so I think he's on a diet atm.

Might be wrong though at this price point!

Just what I'm looking for to rape the engine out off. It looks a bit to nice for that though so I will keep a respectful distance away  :?

OFFS! Why didn't this happen a few weeks ago. What a lovely, lovely thing.

Rover AND auto....... perfect. Towbar as well.

Bugger as I have the money but not an ounce of space unless someone wants the Beetle for £250.

Speak for your self . My customers cars get a full brake strip / inspect and adjust every other service !

There is no rush to move this on. I picked it up on mon day so it's insured for another 25 days. I only bid on it because I had seen it at the scrapyard where he had just got it in. I thought it may do someone on here so went for it. I neither need it or wish to keep it so don't panic over having to buy it now. I may waft about in it a bit more and make sure it doesn't go wobbly. To be honest though it flew down the m62 home.

It's got my name all over it, but for so many reasons I can't do anything about it just now.  I hope it stays on here, then at least I might get another crack sometime.
