Bloody hell. 380 miles a day, for a year? Must have been a pool taxi of some sort. The engine was never cold!

I’m thinking it was maybe a shuttle vehicle for Eastern Europeans? Not stereotyping, serious question.

My 2003 Peugeot Partner ticked over to 205000 today! Not bad for cheap runabout

Well I had to see this one to believe it.

Opened the door and checked the mileage….

Yes, that’s 458,633 miles on the clock. Astonishingly it did an incredible 140,000 miles in one year!

Those 2.0 TDCI engines are actually brilliant when looked after, that car is living (or rather not now!) proof of it :)

Do I win some kind of award for achieving this mileage in a Discovery 3?

You win a certificate of achievement. But the real high mileage disco award goes to the guy that got over 700k out of his. 3 engines later……

Just checked the dash of my Disco.

Could be total mileage, cost of ownership over 1.1 miles or how many crankshafts it’s had since new, not sure yet 🤔😅

1.1 miles, that's not the trip computer, it's the distance since the engine management light last illuminated 😉

Not a huge mileage compared to many on this thread but noteworthy. Fortunately I had a passenger* with me to record it.

180k miles is not really unusual, especially for a diesel. But this is an old school 1.5 non turbo diesel fitted in this

Sorry, I meant to reply to you much earlier; thankyou very much for your kind comments!

Mechanically, she's sorted. It would be great to do some cosmetic stuff, but the thing is I don't want to alter the original paint really.

Every bump and scrape tells a story!

She does need an interior deep clean and an external polish!

I tried really really hard to make 200k in the Merc, but I missed it by less than 500 miles.

hopefully, the new owner will be along shortly to join the club 😂

The MR2 is only on 150k, but the engine is on less than 70, so should make it.

I know this isn't mega mileage in comparison to many on here, but bear in mind it's 1.3 van that I have driven since a couple of hundred miles under 18k.

Edit: Anyone know what the space to the left of the speedo is designed for?

After our last high miler cacked it at 210036 miles, this is our new replacement (well over 1.5 years ago). A 2015 that we bought with 76k on the clock. Low mileage to me but some would say it's high for the age. Average for age would be something around the 60k to 80k mark.

I've tried to cut down the amount of miles we do in it by using the TT more instead - was averaging 15k p/a. Not because worried about value (we'll keep this for another 5-10 years or until it dies) but just increases the 10monthly visits (12.5k service intervals) to my local garage for a service.

200k on my 2007 BMW 535d estate. Not sure if I should do the timing chain or continue to hope that everything will be OK - seems pretty happy at the moment.

I'm more impressed that you managed to get a 1.5D from 0-60mph in one mile.

Couriering Caddy's still rolling along, all the 3's, is that a sextet of 3's or a sixsome?

Scuse the poor pic, Mrs P was with me and it was easier to let her take a crap photo, than get moaned at for me taking a decent pic while driving. I complained about the quality of said pic and had to endure silence for the next few hours, ah bliss....

I wouldn't bother with changing the timing chain. It's pretty much not heard of for that engine to break a chain. Do the chain if it starts rattling, but I think that's very unlikely
