I really can't explain it. I look at it and think "that should be a dull thing" but find myself just thinking it looks ace. Especially from behind.

It really reminds me of some obscure kids TV programme I used to watch in the 1980s, though I can't remember what.

Plus, it's a nice practical shape, in a way no European-market estate car seems to be anymore. I hope I actually like driving the thing. If I do, maybe I'll keep my eyes open for an orange one.

shrunken vito with a fat lip :D

Must have been Pole Position as egg said. Must have been.

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, perhaps?  That was a fav of mine growing up, hasn't aged well.

I remember Jayce and his warriors very well. Not that, but worth a memory. Pole Position just doesn't look quite right. It wasn't Turbo Teen either. What the hell was that about?

Of course, it could be that my mind has just created a memory that is now nothing like reality at all.

They go really well, I knew of one ages ago. The lady loved it to bits, but came to me through some obscure route when Honda wanted to charge £500+ for discs and pads. It turned out the pads fitted other Honda models and weren't hard to find, but the discs were an odd size and unique to the model.

In the end it turned out a 90s Previa shared pretty much the same size, bar 5 minutes and a couple of mm from the centre bore on the lathe. Somewhere I'll have made a note of the code...

Anyway, not as odd-looking as the Honda Spike, which sort of followed the SMX.

I like it although we own a Daihatsu Materia, which fell off the same weird tree.

I think the disc problem has been overcome, well, down to £95 a pair. The driver's wiper blade looks too short on the one I've bought, so I thought I'd quickly google what size it should be. Yeah, there's your problem with grey imports! Looks like I'll need to get one of those fancy headlamp refurbishment kits too (ie T-Cut).

I still can't quite believe that I've bought a car with lowered suspension and a bodykit (albeit all entirely factory). I IZ COOL DOOD!

A-team van.

I'm out the closet about liking lowered cars so I'll say now I think it looks really cool. Am I right in thinking it has a sort of two part bench seat in the front?

Everyone knows only cool kids have three spoke alloys.

Aye, they came as standard on Corsa Sports.

Lowdown is also printed on the chassis plate

just as added proof of jdmYo pre-barrying

You bought a toaster!

A car i've always found a bit of an odd one for the right reasons! Looks to be Kei sized in pictures but are massive. Expect it to have a small engine, 1.2 or 1.4 yet has a 2.0, and has the bench seat arrangement as well as column shifter.

Lowered van with spoiler, those Welsh sheep tracks are going to enjoy that !!

My Audi wheels have three spokes. They also have two additional spokes per wheel, giving each wheel five in total.

New car AND a holiday. You are doing it very right.

Is the B Team van the accommodation?

It might well be, if I can park it up somewhere that doesn't result in me getting shot.

Best bet with the headlamps is wetsand with 1500 grit then machine polish the sanding marks out with some g6. Regards the wipers are the blades on this one just fitted on the wrong arms?

Meguiars headlight kit was reasonably successful for me, the one where you attach a pad to a drill.

I expect someone to mention toothpaste shortly.

I have a chap that does headlight restos after work for me if you can wait on after 5 on Monday

Great buy DW, its like a Berlingo but with a little more style, and massively increased fuel bills.
