Anybody after a set of roof rails? I have no idea what they fit, but if you want them they're yours for a fiver.

I've also got Haynes manuals for a Focus, Megane and MINI...a drink each.

Plus an empty 47kg gas cylinder (Flogas). £5 to save on the deposit for an exchange cylinder?

Anyone going from SF16 to Preston with space for a moped (fits is a 106) ?

Probably. Although may have to fit in a swift!

Moog if you can get it to your end of the M65 then that would be ace - I might even, for shits and giggles ride it back to Preston ( down the A roads not the M65) and then I can throw some money at Castro.

Let me know if its firm then I can sort out payment for the ped.

3*-person tent, anyone?  Used once (at last year's 2CV 24-hour, and thoroughly dried out since!)  Several pegs seem to have gone AWOL, so you'd need a pack of those.

Will swap for cider/car mags/bacon/WHY.

Does anyone need any e30 parts?I have a wide variety available- and happy to send pics prior to bringing stuff down

Hmmm, tempting ...  would you be able to bring to SF, erect it in a field and let me test it for a night or two ;)

I will be bringing a big chunk of magazines and the odd book/manual.

I don't want really anything money wise I just don't want to take any of it home.

Books if anyone wants to calls dibs are:

Haynes Sierra 82-92 4cyl petrol

Haynes Honda Civic 91-96 (pre Rover 45 shape)

Haynes Honda MBX/MTX 125/200 (scrambler type bike) 83-88

VW Up! Handbook

Jenson Button 'My Championship Year'

Mags will be a mixture of 1960s/70s Autocar/Motor and modern Classic nonsense.

I have a few late 1940s aircraft magazines (Aviation World?) which I would want a couple of quid each for, I will check what they actually are called and planes they feature if anyone is interested. There's only about 4 or 5 from memory.

Let me know what the aircraft mags are, I may well be interested.

You can always tempt me with 1960s/70s Autocars and Motor.

Dug out the plane mags - they are 'The Aeroplane', a weekly magazine and the issues are:

May 16 1947, including an article on Aerocar type things

November 21 1947, including description of North American XB 45 bomber

Feb 20 1948, including description of Bristol 170 Freighter and flying impressions of Beechcraft Bonanza

July 22 1949 (this one has a great De Havilland ad on the cover), including short comparision of Constellation and Stratocruiser airliners.

November 11 1949, including flying impressions of Gloster Meteor 7.

There's some great artwork in the ads as well!

£2.50 each or a tenner for the lot.

And why aren't planes given names like 'Stratocruiser' anymore?!

Posted

That's a shame, I have a pretty much full set of Aeroplane in those years, there are a couple of gaps but don't think it's those ones. Good luck with the sale, they tend to be a couple of quid each on eBay plus another couple of quid post so a tenner for five is cheap reading for those.

Hairnet, you have called dibs on the Honda bike manual so it's yours. Beers gratefully received.

There will probably be loads of magazines to go round but 6 cylinder gets first pickings as he's been kind enough to arrange the whole shebang!

I've got the cmt cp 1 Sony version- still doing good work after nearly twenty years! Not worth much now though I'd have thought.

I'll have the stereo if hairnet's willing to swap it for the Honda manual and some mags, I could use it in the kitchen for radio.

Anyone want this lovely Pye for a fiver? It doesn't work, but it'll class up whatever outbuilding you abandon it in.

That sounds interesting as I don't have one, I wonder if the car has to be fitted with studs or anything?

That's very kind but I should not be given special treatment as the team is going to fix all my cars for me anyway!
