catsinthewelder Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Of my 3, two were bought on here and the other was bought after spotting it on the tat thread. Both of the roadworthy ones were replacements for AS cars too.

dugong Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I need to stop buying stuff. Luckily, my psychotic hoarding tendencies are slowing down. Presently: 1966 Volvo Amazon (still being worked on) 1984 Daihatsu Charade (now sold) 1987 Isuzu Piazza Turbo (on road, fizzing) 1987 Isuzu Piazza Turbo (spares car, soon to be binned) 1989 Peugeot 305 GLD 'knob van' (off the road, fizzing) 1990 Volvo 460 Turbo (off the road, not fizzing) 1994 Peugeot 605 SVdt (on road, extremely illegal tyres, hence off road) 1995 Peugeot 605 SVE (on road, mystery driveline terror, off road) 1997 MGF VVC (off road, immobiliser made from despair and Red Robbo's despondancy, hence off road) 2014 Seat Leon (everyday car, not used much, can't decide whether I like it or not) Gone and best forgotten over 2015/2016: 1994 Citroen ZX Leader estate (sold to shiter) 1999 Renault Laguna V6 Monaco (scrapped) 2001 Peugeot 306 1.4 (sold to icedmunkie) 2006 Citroen C4 HDi (sold, died after engine seized on M6)
Jerzy Woking Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 3 cars, none purchased here but two of which are ideal for selling here one day. 11 motor bikes, 4 of which were purchased here (and three of them sold already). Of the 11, I consider 5 of them as AS spec.
cort16 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I like it when you can feel good about just owning 5 cars For Fiats Sake 1

HillmanImp Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 There is a spreadsheet somewhere that someone did. I cant find it though. http://autoshite.com/topic/15601-as-a-group-what-cars-have-we-not-got/page-1 Hey site admins, is there anyway of uploading a spreadsheet on here for people to update? Will be easier than a squillion and 1 posts. Sorted. Feel free to add........... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkfwFNOQBMOYdG5iVHNSWWxqQTRoSmdXdE1LM2lja1E&usp=sharing#gid=0 * I can't see that someone has listed this earlier in the thread.
Angrydicky Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 Four, plus a 1/5th share in the SIERRA BASE and potentially something else on the way at the end of the week.

Mk1 Mr2 - Long slow ongoing projectMk3 Mr2 - Summer carFord Puma - Winter car, but needs to be sold for something "sensible"Toyota IQ - The little lady's. Good choices, I've had a MK1 MR2 and Ford Puma and currently debating a MK3 MR2 whilst they are so cheap!

hairymel Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 19 1/2 - negotiations continue tomorrow for a rover 75 - a possible number 20.5 only one of which i can drive on the road wish i hadn't counted now still i'm sure to feel better after buying another car Yes you will it works for me. rover purchased sight unseen - turns out its ex rover dealers, 1 private owner full mg/rover service stamps and apart from being full of water is very tidy indeed - even has a months mot left. 20.5 achieved ! bought it for a 'field banger' race day to use instead of the e36 coupe , but seems too nice to smash up. perhaps i ought to look for another car...... fuck Cavcraft, catsinthewelder and Sigmund Fraud 3
Captain Furious Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Well, this thread has made me feel a lot better, 3 here, 2 modern and 1 that's borderline, potentially increasing to 4 in the imminent future. All on the road. I've actually been a bit stressed about buying the 4th, because all my friends\family probably already think I have a mental illness owning 3. And Work colleagues, don't even go there...I haven't even declared the 3rd to them and I kinda wish I'd not declared the 2nd either, heathens. Not sure I could deal with 20 cars the paperwork alone would be a full time occupation.
Cavcraft Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Some changes: (Modern) VivaMk1 Laguna 1.6 petrolFiat SeicentoMk2 Scenic 1.5 dieselCorsa C 1.0Ford KaPeugeot 405TD estate
Six-cylinder Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I thought I was doing well with my AS sourced cars 4, with 2 still on fleet both fully functional but now I realise I am just playing at it!
hairymel Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 .. mental illness .. Not sure I could deal with 20 cars the paperwork alone would be a full time occupation. tbh it is a bit worrying - the worst thing is that every time i decide that i am going to cut numbers down, i immediately come across several that MUST be bought. if i got laid more often i would probably have less cars. on the other hand if i had less cars maybe i would get laid more often. in the longer term cars are cheaper , generally don't get jealous and as i have proved are easy to ignore thankfully, as long as the paperwork is done in the 'honeymoon period' , ignoring everything works fine. did have a couple of nasty surprises when sorn was every year though Captain Furious 1
