Right, basically i need this gone as the insurance is up for renewal again in a few days and i need the space which means the Autoshite exclusive price is £750, no haggling, that's the price, It's bloody cheap in my opinion and less than i want ideally but i'm getting impatient with all the messing about I've had.

It's the Ex Mr_Lobster car, he had it 9 years and was his company car before that, It's been very well looked after and needs for nothing, All the electrics work, I've fitted a new CD/AUX/USB stereo, and a new rear caliper. It's the 180 bhp model with the 6 speed box the same as a Leon Cupra and Audi TT so it goes well and returns around 30 mpg, being a Toledo it's slightly cheaper than the Leon on the insurance too.

It passed it MOT last week with no advisories, i also gave it a oil and filter change a few weeks ago with some £50 for 5 Ltr Mobil One ESP stuff. There's quite a few stone chips on the front had have been touched up and a few minor parking dinks but nothing unexpected.

It's done 113000 miles but it has full service history from new, Cambelt says it was changed in February 2011 at 66000 miles and it had a new clutch not long ago.

Any questions please ask. The car is in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Nice, bit off topic but what have you used to polish and wax it looks mint.

Lovely looking motor, good colour, always thought that model was one of the most handsome mid sized saloons of 10 years either way.

I haven't! That was after a quick £6.99 wash and hoover at Eric's hand jobs around the corner!

It comes up well indeed. Sure that will sell quick at that price.

Nowt better than a £6.99 hand job.

Especially from Eric. Funnily enough I've just had a call from a lad all the way from Torquay who's seen the ebay ad who says he's very keen, been looking for one for a while as it's much cheaper to insurance than a Leon and will come up Thursday for it once his insurance money has clearer.. I wonder how this will end...?

XBox and a partially working toaster?

Am sure it will be fine mate. Cracking car,

Well, thanks a bunch, Trig. I was thinking of putting the Leon up for around a grand. Not much chance of getting that now with this bargain minter.

Seriously, though. GLWTS. Not that you'll need it.

Insurance says no. Don't suppose you could get this on a classic policy?

My money is on it ending with him not being the buyer. Truly hope I'm wrong.

FFS! I was trying to use that speak to type mode on my shitty phone! I meant to say I need another car like I need a hole in the head!, I had a phone call from the man from Torquay today saying that he will be up Saturday to collect it so hopefully it will be gone by the end of the weekend.

Thought you'd gone a bit 'too savvy' then.

GLWS, wish I had some justification for buying this back as I'd happily have it around again as it was a great car. Still missing it.

Yeah whatever. I even polished it today too.

If only stories were worth money. EBay and gumtree would be a goldmine.

Sorry to hear you're getting pissed around dude. It's a loverly car.

Stick a badge, VIN and plates from a terminally rusty Triumph Toledo on it, and nobody* will know the difference.

At least he let you know that he wasn't coming and didn't leave you hanging around all day.

I had a few ebay mogwits when I had my Favorit on there. You just feel like slapping them

To be fair, I reckon he's genuine. A "proper" timewaster just wouldn't have turned up. Still frustrating, like, but sometimes, shit happens.

The text from Torquay boy is classic "I've changed my mind" speak

Maybe I just can't help but see the nice side.

Nice little jaunt out today.  Whilst this car feels very much like an appliance, the engine is quite silly.

Quite, quite silly.

Indeed! Was only out the house 14 hours.

Micra's drunk two tanks of fuel though.
