gents, after reading mr bollox's thread on the seat malaga, it made me wonder, what prime autoshite is now extinct, at least on uk shores? feel free to post pics.

To me, there's loads of cars that might as well be extinct, never mind any 'facts', as I haven't an an example in years, not even at a show or on ebay.

According to HML there is another contender - the Fiat 133. T'was a SEAT built thing briefly sold in the UK in the '70s that was basically an 850 rebodied in a vaguely 126/127 style. A relative of mine had one in the mid '80s, which is probably the sole reason I knew they exist. I've never seen another, and I was a right car nut in my youth - I'd have noticed one a mile off.

None roadworthy, but 3 on SORN, apparently.

What are there no Malagas left at all? What about the Seat Ronda?

Hml shows there's 2 or 3 Lonsdales left, but where are they?

Posted

Hardly. Pretty sure one member of this forum owns two of them.

I was 8 years old when I last saw one. How can any have survived?

Ford Ka with a non rotted fuel filler area?

There's at least two of those in the UK.

Hmmm.

I own a Malaga.

I own a Ronda too.

So neither are extinct....

Unless there's one hiding in a garage somewhere, the Sao Penza is long gone now. Last one was spotted in 2008 I think.

Years ago I saw a Seat Malaga in Malaga! Yeah I know it's of no help at all but I've got nothing :-)

Shit no, it was a Marbella in Marbella

Got a Sana too......

Untaxed but road ready....( slinks away, furtively)

Nissan cherry Europe?

Mate of mine had one when we were at nursing school 25 years back - it was pretty fucked then, he replaced it with a turd brown Maestro, so that probably tells you how fucked it was.

I haven't seen a Vauxhall Viceroy in years but apparently there are now twice as many on the road now as there were last year (2!)

Whatever we say, Mr Bickle will either have one, know where one is, or have sold it to the current owner. Thread closed :-)

How about a 'stock list' for the Garage of Delight... guy who unearths minters??

I think that there was a smaller engined version of the Chrysler 180 known as a 160.  Suspect none left now.

Don't know if I can add any cars to the list, but working Audi indicator bulbs have been on backorder for many years.
