Six-cylinder Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 I am looking for shitley help. Loserone has kindly collected our replacement front tyre and inner tub for our JCB and we now need it to roll South! Loserone is in the Bishops Auckland and I am Buckingham. Anywhere closer to me would be a great help and then I can fetch it more easily. If you are passing by but don't want to divert I could meet you on M40 services J10, but another services would be fine or M1 services 15A or another services. It is about 850mm in diameter and is the tyre and tube only not the wheel. The picture is it in Loserones Peugeot 406 estate, which can be purchased separately! beko1987 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 If you've not sorted it by the end of lockdown I've got a trip to York to do. Doesn't look like a huge diversion... Six-cylinder 1
Zelandeth Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Likewise if anyone is travelling down the M1 and doesn't have time to divert to Buckingham, I'm in central Milton Keynes, so five minutes from J14, I'd happily take it the last few miles if dropping it here helped.
richardmorris Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Sorry can’t really help unless someone is going to be passing Surrey rather than TFOD. Glad you’ve sourced a tyre.
worldofceri Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 @Six-cylinder I’m going up to Newcastle later this week. Shouldn’t be a problem to divert through Bishops Auckland. Not sure when I’ll be passing the FOD but I would think I’ll be able to swing by some time and chuck it over the hedge. Mrs6C 1

Thanks that would be great. Can you PM @loserone to liaise with him about pick up please. Even if I have to collect it from your place that is halfway. worldofceri 1
loserone Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I've just pinged Ceri with the current location 👍 Six-cylinder 1
loserone Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 ... might need to get it closer to civilization 🤣

You might be in just as much luck as Vulgalour was a few weeks back. I have to do another run the length of the country both up and back this coming week. PM me the pick up address please, and I'll look to see how easy the diversion is. I know where FOD is, so drop-off is well known! beko1987, Six-cylinder, richardmorris and 1 other 1 3
loserone Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 PM sent. It is at least a nice drive! Talbot 1
beko1987 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Plus you could literally bounce it over the gate and job jobbed! Wouldn't even need to turn the car off Mrs6C 1

bobdisk Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 My trailer, a Brian James C4 Blue was stolen from our works car park in Sunbury-on-Thames. We saw it being taken on our CCTV at 18:30, Friday 13 (!) November, by a white Ford Transit, with an odd "tray" type roof rack covering the whole roof. I will post a video of the cctv when I get a copy of it. It is this trailer I purchased in February this year; mathewsons.co.uk/auctions/auction-dates/vehicles/13128-new-entry-brian-james-c4-trailer Six-cylinder, Mrs6C, High Jetter and 1 other 4

Yoss Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 My Club Triumph mag arrived today and I was slightly surprised to see this. Each issue has a club history page. They pick a random year, the top of the page is Club events from that year but the little bit at the bottom is general car events. So of all the cars introduced in 1980 they chose to feature this. I'd say that's a fair write up. Talbot Tagora gets a mention too. Six-cylinder and Mrs6C 2

Yoss Posted November 16, 2020 Posted November 16, 2020 Ah well, it's a Triumph magazine after all, you can't expect them to know all the intricacies of fairly obscure (to some people) Lancia.

Six-cylinder Posted November 18, 2020 Author Posted November 18, 2020 I have had a busy day shifting cars into some new indoor storage I have on a temporary basis. Today I have driven: CLK Conv Visa Cab E36 323i Somebody else’s classic Range Rover Then my friend needed to store his Fiat van temporally, yes the one @Christine brokered for us on the Forum. The clutch now works great but it is still short of synchromesh on most gears. My friend Derek has just had a new knee and can’t drive a manual so I had the pleasure of driving it 10 miles. I will send a packet of smarties to the person who can guess what is under the blue cover next to the Range Rover? Christine, Mrs6C and Shite Ron 3
