Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.

Sounds like perfect Autoshite then. Has everything we look for in a car. We'll all be lusting after these in ten to fifteen years. Especially if they're only selling 214 a year.

I had a Stelvio as a rental in Germany at Christmas.

I didn’t bond with it, ugly bloated thing and the ride was awful. It was quite fast though and steered well for a munty blob.

The interior looks ok in photos but is very plasticky. The letterbox shaped satnav shows 10 miles either side of you and 50 yards ahead, which makes it completely useless.

Verdict: modern toss. Brera is more comfortable, heaps better ergonomically (never thought I’d say that) and much more classy.

Brilliant spot! I only know about these because Nigel Bickle has one (I think).

Wow that does look very arkward doesn't it?

To be fair, they probably look better in a lighter colour, like metallic red. But this was Germany, so it was black.

Yoss is probably right about it being futureshite.

Delorean John.

It wouldn't have been flushed with success in their home market, and would probably have been panned by the critics. If Delorean had survived, to compete in the current market they'd need an SUV - the RestRoom.

Yoss is probably right.

Ha ha, thought I'd quote that bit and show it to Mrs Yoss sometime when she'll decide I'm most definitely not.

Anyway back to the Alfa, think of it as Austin 3-Litre. Sold in very small numbers when new, scraped along the bottom of the depreciation curve for about 20 years (that's when we buy them) and are only now starting to pick up (but we would have sold it on long before that happens.

I saw a UK registered Volkswagen Routan today, it's a rebadged Chrysler Voyager for the North American market. What is point.

Worst quality VAG ever?

Appropriate that the Fisker mess was eventually bought by a company called Wanxiang. They spunked up $25m for it.

I really liked the Fisker Latigo - the car the BMW E63 should have been. Pity they only ever built two.

Hmm. No. The Fisker grille can get in the sea. I hate it.

However, I love the Cardi Curara above. It looks like the illegitimate love-child of a BMW Z8 and a Bugatti Veyron.

The back end of the E63 was no great shakes either.

Agreed, the Fisker has a much nicer rear end.

Sorry I can't disagree more!  The BMW is gopping

I've got a real soft spot for estate cars, and yesterday I was taking a bike to the MOT station and overtook one of these. I never knew they existed, but if my financial situation were different I would be very tempted  . .

Drove past a Fiat idea?! on the way back from work there. 06 plate. I assume Fiat sold about 3 of them in the UK, looks like a cross between a Panda and a Punto

Lancia did a Fiat Idea rebrand, called the Musa. It looks far better. Well, as much better as that shape can

I assumed these were just props for Goldmember. Coincidentally it was latterly named the Myers Motors NmG.
