I should never have seen this. It has to be worth a punt purely for the comedic factor and maybe a collection caper.

He even says "No reasonable offer refused"

Jeez.  If you can DIY some discs and pads you're probably off and running for a year!

I had a 1.0=3potta Swift.... The Sheefag has that Alto flagged up here.

I have always considered that [5 door] as probably the best 'bus pass money' family wheelbarrow around.

Crash worthinesslike a 2CV, likely, but I haven't seen so many about totally hanging ??

Even if it does suffer a complete meltdown. The initial cost of the car could be recouped in parts and scrap value.

I've eyed up the focus saloons for my next work shitter too, so utterly unloved yet usually maintained quite well. I think their fucking ugly but still would!

So when's that going into a roffle? Two randoms please when it does.

If I wasn't in Belfast, and therefore adding at least £200 to anybody's collection mission, I'd be roffling shite all the time....

Some impressive buys here. I can't quite beat that but here it goes. I bought a clean 04 Punto 1.2 8 Valve with 6 days test for £200 last week. Took it for MOT the next day £35 and it passed without advisories. Bought about £35 of bits to get everything sorted and do a cam belt, aux belt + service. I already have oil so not adding the cost of 2.8 litres 10W-40. For about £270 a tidy car with a years ticket and a new cam belt seems reasonable. Shame I did the belt in too much of a hurry and got the cam a tooth out. Real rubbish timing marks on the FIRE engine. Need to go back and reset that now, thankfully it's a safe engine.

EDIT: Timing fixed, engine perfect since.
