But it is a bargain Ferrari. 😉

Never heard of the NY500 museum so looked it up. It appears to be a cafe/meet up point. With a garage attached.

So wrong ! Where do you start.? Can’t even get Reliant Robin in the right order.

I can only assume Ferrari’s legal bids are too busy laughing to actually stop them calling it a Ferrari.

@Metal Guru.... "I can only assume Ferrari’s legal bids are too busy laughing to actually stop them calling it a Ferrari"

I wonder if it has a 'gag sticker', in the rear window >> "Don't Laugh, my OTHER car is a DeLorean!"

To be fair 8000 quid is now only just about enough to do a weekly shop in Waitrose and fill the car with petrol so the price seems about right.

Iirc* this was a badge engineering exercise by Maranello who, lacking a small fibreglass three wheeler in their range during the early 80s approached Reliant to provide one.

You’ll be telling us next Aston Martin would rebadge a terrible little Toyota 20 years later.

Greater fool theory - Wikipedia

It usually ends badly - but then, if you're in the market for an MGF, that's kind of a given...

Namely the one that salvage rebuilds uk just had.... They paid £2000, it went for £4900...

So maybe for each person that buys it you make a few grand... where will it end!

also, minor niggle but

Goodyears on all four wheels; these look to be virtually unused although we don’t know when they were replaced.

Theres a 'lassa' budget on the front offside , i remember Rob mentioning this in one of his videos.

The list price of that Orion new was £6829 (the diesel was the most expensive engine option for a GL) so I suppose it has depreciated slightly!

I paid £5240 for a petrol 1.6 GL in April 1984. I think that was about £1000 off list price.

That was around the list price of the 1.6 GL (minus the VAT) according to Al's Ford brochure upload. :)
