I don't think we've had this one yet. It's another from the dealer in all things thoroughbred Emergency Accountants. This time the unique appreciating asset is perhaps the most desperate use of the GTi badge ever. Not for this lad the backdrop of water features in the grounds or the stone built stable blocks. No, the cars speak for themselves and can shout through the palisade fence and weeds.

Suggested Retail Price: £4,999

Estimated Value In 10 Years: £25,000

Valuer's Comments: "Have you ever seen a Ford Escort GTI Estate before? I haven't and this is probably the last time you will ever see one. If you are going to buy a super super rare car make sure it has a Ford badge on it like this one and being an Escort is icing on the cake! Car works as it should. Drive away today.

This one is so perfect for you collection.  You know that every collection needs a Ford Escort and this has to be the best one to get! Appreciating useable classic and cheapest in the UK by far. Don't be the guy who said 'I remember when these were peanuts and now they are mega money' ten years from now. Reserve with only £100."

To be fair to the lad he only wants a grand for this cast iron investment opportunity. I do wonder what is going to happen to the global economy over the next decade that is going to make a thirty year old estate worth 25K. Perhaps he thinks we are in for a bout of hyper inflation.

Have those VXs ever had much of a following? Of course if it was a Granada then the price would be doubled!

Something to puzzle you, starting with WHY !

Take a Toyota and make an Aston Martin out of it, Then try to sell it.

For GBP 12805 or NZ$ 25000.

And to make it really exclusive, Headline the ad as "Aston Martin Cygnet Copy"

Which at least is the truth...

Aren't they the same jokers trying to sell a Datsun 120Y (that they bought for £7200) for ten grand?

Lots of fake ads on EBum at the moment...all about £3000 - all item not found - scams. One or two work with an email contact and other rubbish.

Totally insane - only worth that if it once belonged to the Pope*
