Would you rather have 1300 British Pounds Sterling...…

or would you rather have a Ford Transit Luton that has been painted with a paint brush/roller in a green/black combo???

Owner has updated the description with one of the longest MOT failure lists I have ever seen... maybe I've not seen enough but seriously... in that condition wouldn't you know not to bother???

Highlight of it is the tester trying to give the owner a hint to scrap it in the failure criteria:

"Offside Front Suspension component mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded Inner wing wheel arch to out rigger to step. Full of filler and news paper too! (2.4.A.3)"

Escort Mk3 RS1600i with 97500 miles for under £2k.

Oh, wait a minute . . .

It has one more MOT fail on record than my Rover;

Date tested
19 June 2014
FAIL
Mileage
1,915 miles
MOT test number
6764 7067 4157
Test location
unavailable until further notice
Reason(s) for failure
Exhaust emissions hydrocarbon content excessive (7.3.B.1b)

That makes the Ronda worth at least £130k shirley

A C140 S-Class coupe is very high on my want list, especially in black (two tone black/dark grey would be even better). But 29k for one is a bit excessive... Especially with clear swirl marks in the paint and a bodged back box...

Knock a zero off and you reach something approaching the actual value of a 140 Coupe.

When I first saw this I thought it was a bit over priced. They are rare cars in Spain as most imported  Ford saloons of this class size were Taunus'.

Having done some searching it is not so over priced as I at first thought.

If it's as good as it looks, £9000 is about right. It has all the correct bits including the impossible to find leather GXL gear knob.

I like it.  :-D

This one here with <9000 miles and a Turbo Technics conversion from new recently sold for 46 grand at auction.

Rally jacketed fool/money = soon parted.

These were shit.

Shitter than an XR3i.

It was based on a shit car, it had a shit engine, shit brakes and very good seats. Several cars - the Astra GTE being one, and the Alfasud Ti GCL being another - were so much better because they were decent cars in base form and not some shoddy CVH powered shitbox.

97 grand. FFS.

It would be a terrible shame if trading standards turned up at 'dodgy 4x4 spares of Darnall' and went through their entire inventory and seized the lot

For fucks sake, this went through ACA less than 3 days ago for £2400, and it is now already on sale for £3995.

Yes, it is very clean, and yes, it has got a very low number of miles on the clock, but almost £4k for a Ford Sierra Estate is a bit much.

Is it too much though? Regardless of what it sold for 3 days prior to being advertised there's not many around and if someone wanted a nice Sierra estate then I'm sure they'll happily pay 4 grand for it.

It's annoying I agree but not unreasonable, I think I got 200 quid for mine 20 years ago but there were thousands on the road.
