Fuck me, nobody?

Okay. It's a metal bumper car. But it has a plastic bumper front end.

I should have spotted that

I am intrigued by the reference to a dry sump though, probably a long range tank addition in the boot mistakenly identified.

62K mind, fuck me

It's the old thing; somewhere there is a rich bloke in his late forties or early fifties, boy done good, £2'500'000 house and on 200 grand a year.

He had one of these new. Loved it as you did, had to sell it when the first nipper came along, regretted it.

Here is a once in a lifetime chance to buy it again. It's even the same colour.

Who do I make this payable to mate?

" It also received dry-sump lubrication and a short-ratio five-speed gearbox"

No it didn't, you lying fuck.

VERDICT: Seller is a twat.

This one local to me really made me giggle. A privateer trying to sell a 850 (non turbo) for £6750.

Yes, but he's a member of the Volvo Owners Club so that obviously commands an extra wedge of cash.

I wonder what BIL would make of it, given he's also a 'member'.

Reduced to £6k now.

£12k for the ugly 90s Delta. Yeah it's a HF but who cares?

If you want one, just import the one below from Holland.

Seller doesn't sound like a cretin either.

Jesus, that grille!   :?

"using a 3.6 litre XJS as a basis". Seriously? Why not a V12? :-(

Aren't XK's lovely? Bargains compared to an E Type as well. Astonishing really how some tinpot set up in Coventry turned out so many great cars.

212k miles ?? he's right it is probably one of the finest examples if there were one other with 213k miles on it.. Miles shouldn't count to much but the money asked should reflect the globe trotting..

I had one of these 1980-83. One of the few cars I regret selling. Was a coupe - even these pre-Etypes were  relentlessly fast. Fantastic if frightening drive - drum brakes all round...epic brake fade if using the performance.  Unrestored examples come up occasionally - well worth fixing you'd get your money back.

X308-R`s are going up, but not when they're that `worn`...

I particularly like the ex-minicab steering wheel cover & stick on leaper on the airbag, waiting to leap into your right eye in the event of a fender bender, might be good for people with 9 points for speeding?

that ^^ is about as tenuous as it gets, next some pillock will be yellow duluxing every single three wheeler ;)

Price doesnt seem horrendous in this day and age

I liked this bit in the blurb

if you're in collecting rare reg. plates

Shirley they are all unique? But I guess there is one on each end so that makes them slightly less rare ergo less collectable to those collecting only rare reg. plates. Maybe the seller has lobbed the rear reg plate into the Tiber to inflate the price of it being rare? no idea

am I over analysing it?
