Its a 318is , desirable apparently

They are - had the sport suspension etc and quite rare comparatively - still strong money!

Love the description. She's a Damn good car so bid. Ooooo touchy. Added to watch list just because I can

Posted it on Facebook for everyone to add to their watch list and share too. And to ask about the headgasket in case it's going "like they do on old Rovers", or if there's anything stuck in the handbrake like coins "ect ect". So far:

A M: In my watch list....
G H: and mine

A R: done

That Peugeot is the Autoshite equivalent of the Marie Celeste, forever destined to sail the becalmed waters of ebay, attracting phantom bids and questions............

i reckon its getting close to being an OK deal and therefore getting sold.

Edited for accuracy.

This might not be too far off the value as they only made 12 or 13 depending on who you ask. There was one listed at £125,000 in good condition which had previously been sold in 2006 for about 48k. The trouble is they don't have type approval in europe or the US so one for a collector really. They only sold them in the middle east and spain who weren't involved with the rest of europe as far as type approval went back then. Wether the fact that it was legal in spain back then will allow it onto the road when you go to register it over here is another question. A bloody ugly car though based on a citroen SM floor pan with the little v6 engine top speed of 125mph not a proper maser really

What a strange thing, I thought it was a Tatra at first. Triple windscreen wipers FTW

I like it but you can definitely tell that it's more of a Citroen Limousine rather than a Maserati.

Looks flipping brilliant, I'd much rather buy that than a crummy flat above a burger shop in Stoke.

I reckon that Maser has appeal written through it like a stick of rock. If I were fabulously wealthy £40k would be exchanged for its weird looking SM based foxyness.

Was about 60k IIRC

In theory you could tax this thing on the way to pick it up and drive it home on the motorway, quite legally ,after it's sat for 30 years WCPGW? Did the geniuses that scrapped old car MOTs even think about idiots (like me) who will in all likely hood abuse it?

For nearly 11 grand I'd want the boot lid to fit a bit better...

So that's £2,650 for a shit car in a horrible car with '136,416 genuine miles' on the clock. Don't all rush at once.

Oh noooo! I thiought we'd heard the last of this twunt.

He says he's "Fed up of relisting the 405 now". Then reduce the fucking price to reflect its condition, you simpleton.

Errr.. We have movement Houston, £280! Only another £200 to drop.

Sprint engined TR7. Obviously well cared for. Bonnet missing, but a spare comes with the car. You'll have to fit it yourself though because with an asking price of only Ã¢â€šÂ¬14,500 (£12,145) it's not worth his while bolting it on.

I don't think the Overfinch P5 is too over the top, its been for sale for quite a while now; if he'd stick an MOT on it I'm sure it would shift more easily. (It was £9995 the last time I noticed it so it's the old trick of, if it doesn't sell put the price up.)

At least it's properly registered with DVLA, unlike this one

where they appear to have neglected to advise the DVLA about all the mods.

Not sure it matters that much since it would still be the same tax bracket.

Whilst I'd never drive that Polo, I will admit I do kindof like it

I saw this at Anglia Car auctions a week ago, it went for £1860

http://www.angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/saturday-9th-november.aspx

It was utterly mint and utterly boggo spec, even down to the poverty wheel trims. Nice, but not worth that sort of cash. Unless you count the fact that it genuinely appeared not to have any rust, in which case Mercedes probably want it for their museum.
