HillmanImp Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Outlaw118 is selling his mates Primera on Ebay as per this topic: http://autoshite.com/topic/14616-1997-nissan-primera-for-sale/ As there is some debate about how much this is worth I thought it might be enjoyable to have a little sweepstake to see how much it actually goes for. It could throw us a curveball by dissapearing for export at a high price early or might not get any more bids that the one it already has - I JUST DONT KNOW! THATS THE FUN! Here is a link to the actual ad and the machine in question: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1997-NISSAN-PRIMERA-SI-GREEN-SALOON-1600-LONG-MOT-EXPORT-/290975691181 GR6 photography skillz Who took these, Cavette? Actually, no its the right way up. Thats better There will be a top prize payable to the person that gets the nearest although I have not decided what that will be yet but dont expect a speedboat, caravan or 3 piece suite, this ain't fucking Bullseye. I note that the car has a reserve on it. Even if the car does not make its reserve I will still send the prize to the person who is the nearest to the final auction price. If the auction does indeed end early, hopefully Outlaw will let me know the price it sells for. There will be no reason for him to rig the price in this scenario as quite franky the prize will not be worth the effort. And Outlaw, this is in no way a dig at the sales post, its simply good fun fun fun. If anything its bringing attention to the car. outlaw118 1
cort16 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 £218.74p Once you throw 6 months tax at it it's nearer £350, which seems about right for this.
nacho man Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 £302 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Sigmund Fraud Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I would expect £275, mostly due to long test.
vulgalour Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 £290 Careful, you don't want to catch Mongs.
Bobthebeard Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Re listed due to time wasting mong?Has finger to bid but no actual intent or money?
Bren Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 £248.75. I bet he has had people offering scrap value. My wife's old galant that was low mileage and had lots of bills only made £375 - it even had plenty of MOT and tax. Even the air con worked. I would now sooner frag an old shitter than bother with the mongoloids of ebay.
outlaw118 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Well, 138 page views, 5 watchers, one bid. No mongs yet, but I'm expecting a barrage.... £337.50.
meggersdog Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Reason for bid retraction : entered wrong amount. This will be twelve hours and three minutes before the end of the auction.Final price...£183.12
gary_davidson Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 £286.08 - the 8p is in the hope that there is that much under in coppers under back seat
outlaw118 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I've just driven it, and it's......a car. that's all. It goes and stops. The lights work...er....the windows and doors open.....err....nothing else to report, apart from me telling matey that he's going to struggle to get £400 let alone £500. He's investigating Gumtree, god help him!
