I love seeing things like this, but i do also wonder just how shonky some 'MOT exempt' stuff actually is

This one isn't even MOT exempt quite yet so it's been passing tests in that state. I dread to think how much worse it'll get from next year when it doesn't need an MOT anymore.

This had just rolled off the back of a flatbed outside a local garage when I arrived.

It looked really tidy under the dust. There were no holes and if it was full of filler it had been done well.

I'm not a Ford licker but this is obviously quite a late one as I know you can get mk4s on an R and I wasn't aware they moved the F O R D lettering from the bonnet. Also a rear wiper must have been a rarity in 1976 or 77ish.
