Ratdat Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Ratdat where did you see this tranny? I papped it on a driveway only 5 minutes from me in Essex recently (In May I think). It didn't have those black / silver plates on though. It was up near Skegness.
Tartan58 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Here's a couple that have been sitting on my phone for a while that I'd forgotten about: I just love the fact that this has a roof rack (non scene) - have seen it another time with a bike on it plus the state of the interior showed that this is most likely a daily driver.....and it's a 912 for added shite points. Local reg too but LHD and yes that's a crook-lock on it as well, bonus points for shite security. An old landy just always looks right, another local(ish) reg. brickwall and Jim Bergerac 2
Tartan58 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Phone dump time I'm afraid - In a totally random order and not even all strictly autoshite but hopefully they are of interest! At Chambord Chateau in France - not quite sure why... Little electric thing at the museum of flight (oddly, I doubt it would fly far - perhaps in a strong wind) Myreton Motor Museum in East Lothian - a hidden gem. Spied from the city walls in York Not sure what to say about this... Tractor-shite, so disgusting looking it's beautiful The next few are from the Glasgow Transport Muesum - well worth a visit: And from Glasgow to the Museum at Le Mans: And back to the UK...Random Austin 7 in Cambridge Fantastic Ecurie Ecosse transporter at the Bo'ness hillclimb - D Types were also there but they're boring Getting used properly Getting ready to be used properly See above Oops - oh well at least it's only an MGB Skizzer, Jim Bergerac, mouseflakes and 1 other 4
Tartan58 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Found a couple more from the Glasgow Transport Museum mouseflakes and Skizzer 2
Jim Bergerac Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I'm not far from the Myreton museum. Like you say a hidden gem. Been a while since I've been there though,
barrett Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 The little electric thing is a Scottish Aviation Scamp, hence why it's in the aero museum Tartan58 1
Luckythirteen Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I felt a bit odd about the massive wall of plinths in the Glasgow Transport Museum. It's like being inside a model collection. Colin McRae's Subaru though...
vulgalour Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 That's exactly the thing I really like about the wall of plinths. The Invacar on the dynamically posed plinth is excellent too, I've got a lot of time for that. Tartan58 1
Lacquer Peel Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Junkman, Skizzer, brickwall and 1 other 4
Jim Bell Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Have papped this slammed frog before, but its still cool. This itarrion starrion was just round the corner too. Owned by Annie I presume. And finally, a non-scottish Swede: DS20, Tartan58, Skizzer and 3 others 6
M'coli Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 ^^^ That's an Edinburgh registration on that Saab... brickwall, Junkman and Jim Bell 3

Aston Martin DB9, TR7, Stag, Jowett Javelin (?), Sunbeam Alpine, etc. etc., plus this Reliant: ... and there was also this: Uh-oh. Have they BTTF'd it? Of course they have, the fucking knobs. That was it for the Northcliffe 'car show', but here's a random picture of a Triumph Spitfire 'monster truck': Junkman 1
Jim Bergerac Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Have papped this slammed frog before, but its still cool. That Lancer(?) looks hot too... KruJoe 1
Jim Bell Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 It was pretty tidy that too. Should have got a snap.

It's like being inside a model collection.Colin McRae's Subaru though... Not sure about the wall myself either, I suppose it's a good way to get more cars on display without taking up floor space but I'd like to be able to see them up close. Colin's Subaru is excellent, love the fact you can look right underneath - didn't bother putting up photos of that here though, not really autoshite.
trigger Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I saw these two in St. David's last week. This one was near Beachy head. And this bag of shit was at Corley services and surprisingly wasn't dumped. brickwall, Jim Bell and Junkman 3
vulgalour Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Is that Hyundai a Gibraltar car? Does that explain the weird plate and the GBG sticker?
vulgalour Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Best bit is the broken rear quarter light hints at someone thinking the car, or something in the car, was worth stealing. The mind boggles.
HillmanImp Posted September 29, 2014 Author Posted September 29, 2014 Did you not see the others parked up at Northcliffe Garage on Saltaire Road? Aston Martin DB9, TR7, Stag, Jowett Javelin (?), Sunbeam Alpine, etc. etc., plus this Reliant: No, I parked up at The Old Glen next to Baildon Moor and walked down from there so travelled there in a different direction and missed that, shame. fordperv Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 this maestro 1.3 looked fantastic in its brown glory, it also had an lpg filler on the bumper, dont think you can see it on the picture though EssDeeWon, Jim Bergerac and vulgalour 3

Jim Bergerac Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 That Cav/Daewoo shot could genuinely be from the late 90s. Spotted yesterday, not really a Beetle fan, but this one had character: vulgalour, HillmanImp, Tartan58 and 2 others 5
They_all_do_that_sir Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Unfortunately there is a distinct lack of shite in Northern Ireland. Maybe a combination of the troubles / OMG EZ CAR FINANCE and the scrappage scheme, who knows. Anyway a couple of spots from this week, mk1 twingo in awful picture skills shocker: Annnnnnnd to top that in the photo skillz check out this amazing* mcdonalds drive through stealth Rover P6 papping (look closely, it's there's somewhere) I'll try harder next time, I promise..... brickwall 1
vulgalour Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Ah, I see you went to the Where's Wally School of Photography. Great for seeking out the interesting bits amidst the sea of mundanity/chavness. alf892 and brickwall 2
