Schaefft Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 A few more. The Hyundai Pony was one of the biggest surprises. You wonder how it would survive for so long. danthecapriman, AnnoyingPentium, MiniMort and 3 others 6

Schaefft Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 The Saturn SL2 next to the amazingly yellow Previa (one of my favorites colors for them) was another surprise. I've also seen a really rough mark viii like mine in the same neighborhood. Drivers advised to not stop there since people get shot all the time, for me it was a gold mine lol. The Fleetwood Pace Arrow is one of my favorite old-school RVs as well. D.E, danthecapriman, Dyslexic Viking and 1 other 4

Isopon Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Went to a show earlier, there was a good selection of cars there, but here's the highlights: Range Rover was interesting as it was converted to 4 door in 1988. My favourite of the show was this fabulous Transit clubmobil. Just so cool. Yoss, CreepingJesus, danthecapriman and 10 others 13

Andrew353w Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 I attended the Princethorpe College annual P.T.A. fête, at which there was a classic car event. My Daf met a friend.... Lost them in a move he thinks. Those plates were £40 at Bromley Pageant 2 weeks ago. There were some nearer the original type, but they were £80+. Too expensive. LightBulbFun 1
wheel nut Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I didn’t give these a second glance when new but now, especially when compared to all the current crossover things, I realise just how elegantly designed they were for a family car. Hedge find 205 I quite fancy one of these but the recent MOT history on this one is depressing These are not to my taste but I admire it when a manufacturer dares to do something different. Andrew353w Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Another shot from my skip spotting duties, running around Mill Hill this time. Although bearing a "64" registration, I'm almost sure it was a right hand drive one! How odd is that? Dyslexic Viking, LightBulbFun and 500tops 3

Although bearing a "64" registration, I'm almost sure it was a right hand drive one! How odd is that? If you wanted there wouldn't be anything stopping you grafting the RHD bits from an old one onto it - though you'd loose the PAS and have to either fit an older engine or massively re-engineer the intake (the multipoint intake manifold wants to occupy the same space as the RHD steering box)...and given that RHD steering bits are made of almost pure unobtainium these days, seems odd! ... Though having said that, someone who's willing to have paid for an imported 64 plate Niva is quite likely exactly the sort of person to either pay to have that work done or to attack it as an engineering challenge.
