These two in Allendale after the Skylark was posted here before. I met the owners and drove them both. I now have the option to buy the Toronado.😂

Also mysterious rotten coupe in the North Pennines. Can anybody tell what is?

I remember going to Allendale over 20 years ago now and seeing the American cars. I want to say that the guy had a yellow school bus and a fire chief's car at the time.

He did indeed own 2 school buses. He's scaled down his fleet considerably now and only owns the Skylark (his wife actually does), Cherokee which needs welding and the Toronado he bought on ebay about 5 years ago, although I recall it being on ebay more recently. Tempted by it but it's another project I really don't need, kept his number anyway in case he ever decides scrapping it, I would definitely have it then.

In other news, Ive just spotted this Allard P4 and I cannot believe it's local to me. What are the chances, they only built 3 and this should be the only one still on the road!

Even has the same interior color as my same year Celsior.

This lovely little gem parked up next to me at Motorserv this afternoon.

Really tidy little car.  Tiny bit of rust on the arches but nothing a bit of TLC wouldn't sort.

Grotty daily-driven Astra, not a million miles away from the previously posted red CX and maroon Fester. Taxed, MOTd, got a valid parking permit and an impressive collection of lichen on the roof. Tasty!

In the mid. Seventies when I was a child most households only had one car. Those with two usually had one new car and the second was an older car or sports car. A house across the road from us had two identical cars, two Viva’s, two Bond Bugs then two Skoda Rapid’s. Not necessarily in that order as my memory is not that good. Anyway although these are boring modern cars, they are a great colour and reminded me of our old neighbours:

I wasn’t  sure whether to put this in the number plate thread but the plates are not that great but do have S C Marsh below on both in a proper ‘90’s fashion:

Whilst I am not overly impressed with the vehicles it is nice to see people who know what they like. Both the above are only a few hundred yards apart.

I spotted these when out walking the dog. The mk3 Escort was one of those South Africa pick ups.

I spent most of it nattering to the owner of the Group B spec Renault 5 turbo.  Amusingly it has the same basic 1.4 Cleon as my Dacia but putting out 300bhp 😎😎😎

I should probably have mentioned that most of those pictures were taken by the girls while I was nattering 🤣

Here's a few more from recent travels.

Mrs Imp spotted this the other day whilst someone was stealing her purse and Samsung Galaxy S20 out of her boot in the gym car park.

I'd like to take this moment to stress that despite the poor quality of the photo, Mrs Imp isn't Cavcraft, she's just shit at framing photos too.

Imp Jr also spotted this yesterday in Ilkley too (I took the photo though, his would probably be a close up of his face or something).
