I was once parked up in my Renault 17 Gordini , just off The Embankment behind The Savoy Hotel, getting my Teenage Kicks when the young lady involved suddenly screamed that someone was watching. I was too committed at this stage, but when the exercise was concluded I looked over my shoulder, to be confronted with a homeless looking bloke knocking one out in front of the car. This image still haunts me and I still shudder whenever I see a Renault 17 or 15 , or indeed homeless men having a wank.

If I could have been certain the Renault would have started I'd have jumped in the driver's seat and roared off, but the thought of having to ask matey for a push meant I just pretended not to have seen him.

Party at a mates, insted of a house party would pitch a few tents in the far end of a field that his parents had. I decided just to use the car because with the seats down & being an estate gave plenty of room to throw a sleeping bag (Also transport booze).

It is certainly true that there's much more room to 'play' in the front of a 2CV. Which is why my first ever time was in the back. I later learned that this was not the best place. Bloody cramped back there. Whereas, you can do it in the front AND wear a top hat. Should you want to.
