Does this thread include Lego creations? If so, a few people here might like my poor attempt at building an Invacar Model 70 from a few years back:

Yes I know it's supposed to be light blue but I've mainly got white bricks at home.

Funnily enough, my local Heron Foods outlet. They're part of B&M apparently

I thought to myself 'I've never heard of them'

So went to website and found out they are named 'B&M Express' in this part of the country.  Bit of a way away from here anyhow but will keep it mind thanks

My local Tesco express outlet. They usually don't have model cars at all. But I went into there yesterday for some food shopping and saw them on a shelf. They weren't in the usual Hotwheels store box just upright on a shelf. There weren't many about 10 or 15 mixed models.

Thanks.  I popped out to the lockup earlier and snuck by the nearest Tesco Express complete with gloves and mask on, for a nosey.  Nothing in that one, but it does double-up as a petrol station.

Yeah, my local one doesn't usually stock model cars so it was honestly strange finding them. Maybe the bigger main stores will have new stock in them.

Na, I got it in a job lot of stuff, I’m not all that into Britains so I’m moving it on.

I finally managed to unbox and clean the job-lot I received earlier in the week. Any steamed up windows were dried on a radiator. Weirdly the Renault Trafic mini bus just had 'Van' on the base. Also, the metallic green MK3 Escort - I don't recall seeing one with the finer details painted like this one? The Novas - I don't remember the hatch being glazed? None are for sale until I've gone through my whole collection so I can offer up everything at once.

I've seen them with a black grille and red tail lights but no other detail. Previous owner with a sharpie? They are so easy to improve

I thought that but I'm almost certain it looks like it was done at the factory?

That Escort looks fantastic btw (for sale?).

After all, you don't really want to keep one with a cracked rear screen, do you?  Especially when I have a donor here.  [ Jedi Mind Trick deployed right there ]

Lastly a mystery - MK1 Golf more-door. Looks a lot like Matchbox, but it's bigger with a pressed steel base. Fuel filler is on the wrong side! Anyone know the make?

Yes, not really into Superkings territory though.

It has styling cues from both Matchbox and Majorette - front grille/lights are like the Majorette, rears are like the Matchbox. Wheels look like some of the later Majorette ones too
