A DIY mix based off of Raintown, When the World Knows Your Name, Fellow Hoodlums, and Whatever You Say, Say Nothing. I made a few mistakes writing out the inlay card, as you'll see. The Spotify playlist is here.

Thanks! I made the playlist first since Spotify gives you a bit with the running time of the playlist. Once I've got it to there I'll cue up the first half and then the second half. It's all quite good. Plus, the stereo I have in the car is less of a thief magnet (Sony, yet to wire in 10 disc changer too).

A couple of car boot finds this morning

The Corgi Rockets Jensen has been repainted & then partially stripped.It was only a pound though.

The Corgi Karrier Ice Cream Van was Miss_155's choice.It's quite battered,but it complete apart from one of the sliding windows.It would probably be quite easy to restore,but she likes things that show their age.Which includes me I guess 😂

I had the Corgi ice cream van too. It seems that is long gone. I think the man inside rotates.

Today's random Facebook buy was this Lego shop display

Matchbox truck shown for scale.Plan is to take the Lego cars out,& use it to display some 1/43 cars.It has a load of led bulbs in the top,but the batteries are flat,so 1st job will be to get them working.

My son has just turned 18months and has taken to pushing cars across the floor at high speed. I've dug out some old my old cars from my parents loft. Some corgis, Saab, Porsche, manta, transit and a nice superkings DAF!

Did recently finally finish this 1:16 Heller Citroen DS which has been waiting for the final fiddly bits for months. Not my best build. A very tricky kit to build with opening doors. Panel gaps are large but it looks good on the shelf.

I got an unexpected parcel on Saturday - when I was out, naturally, so today I went and collected it.  MrsR was asking me what it could be, and I said, joking, "it'll be one of my Autoshite friends sending me more cars" to which she said "it better not be!"

It has several advantages over the rather expensive Minichamp one. It's got orange repeaters and the doorhandles are painted.

But most importantly, it's right hand drive!

I got a nice package from @Datsuncogtoday containing a lovely Matchbox Commer Ice Cream van & a Cararama/Hongwell  Volvo C30 in a rather lovely metalic grey.

The van is for Mrs Concern to put in the Summer House...

The C30 gets added to my collection of them and is my favourite of the 1:43 models

The blue ones are also Cararama

The other two are both different and I cant remember what make they are, but not as well detailed as the Cararamas

There is a strange clear plastic blister taped inside the box and I can't work out what it can be, any ideas?

A Corgi Ramber Marlin with camping trailer and kayaks I got for Mrs Concern's Christmas present to go in the Summer House. I got each bit from ebay as they came up cheaply as the complete sets fetch silly money...

Little MicroMachines Jeep to tow the boat also in Summer House

And a Corgi Monte Carlo Mini (repro). I had one as a child that I lost, it was found much later in the compost heep all corroded and with squashed roof so I fancied a new one

I think it has the wrong style wheels but still nice...

I couldn’t resist this Norev Citroën C3 XTR for £3 at a local antique/junk shop. 

The level of detail in a 1:43 is great, it even has the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel! 

Sadly it is missing it’s driver’s wing mirror, so I will have keep a eye out for a tatty ‘pound box’ Vanguards/Carama with a suitable replacement. 

All I need now is for @Six-cylinder to buy a real one so I can sell it on for a massive* profit! 😀
