These seats are from an earlier Wolseley 18/85 and a are a popular ‘mod’. Looks a fairly solid car though. I like these a loads. Getting rare now, nice car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk keef 1

Uncle Jimmy Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 Wool is a bit troublesome for the activity about to occur above though, I recommend a good quality rubber glove.

Richard_FM Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 I imagine from the registration it was in the Longbridge press fleet.
Asimo Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 “ It's a great car with a wonderful history, having been purchased new in 1974 by the Church Commissioners as the chauffeur driven car of the Bishop of Gloucester. It did 5 years' service and, in 1979, it was gifted to the chauffeur on his retirement. He ran it until 1985/ 86 then put it in the garage where it stayed until June 2014 when his widow made it available to some members of the Landcrab Club. “ https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1370009 LightBulbFun, Wilko220, Dyslexic Viking and 7 others 10
High Jetter Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Would you though, with that registration? (never mind the HFM price)

I love the vertical autobox gear selector. That top hose looks a bit knackered though !
flat4alfa Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Why would you fit a top hose that's been heavily stained by a boil-over...
Isaac Hunt Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Fekkin Austin 6 I ask you. IMHO the Six’s look best without the optional or retrofit 18/85 style overiders.
