Flower Farm is a farm shop with a cafe/restaurant, it's on the A25 and it's about a mile south from M25 Junction 6.. They've got a good sized car park, indoor and outdoor seating, they do tasty but sometimes chaotically served breakfast type food until 11am, take away coffee, tea, cake pastries etc. There's a farm shop to fulfil all your scotch egg, picked onion, daffodil and beer desires too.

Whoever gets there first please bag the far left corner of the overflow car park nearest the road again so we can all park together.

From the road head into the car park, left through the gate and head to the corner by the arrow below.

TIME
From 10am

All welcome!

It would be great to see as many of us out as possible… new and old shitters, left, returned, lapsed, background lurkers, whatever, all welcome!

I realise a lot of folk on here aren't in their element with lots of people and social stuff but please don't let that put you off. This started a few years ago as a gentle way of getting us back together post covid & lockdown so we'll promise to be welcoming but not overbearing!

There were about 20 of us last year and a fine selection of chod, which was brilliant.   I'll pop down and have a chat with the owner to let him know we'll be  coming.

Last Year:

Three Years ago:

This year there will be name badges* for those who wish to be recognised and connected to their car.

*Masking tape and a sharpie

If this isn't enough to persuade you, there's the nearby Crowhurst Yew, "possibly the oldest yew tree in the country" How old? 4000 years!

https://www.visitsurrey.com/listing/the-ancient-yew-tree-crowhurst-yew/88003101/

And of course there's the Godstone Sinkhole about a mile up the road. Known as "possibly the longest sink hole in the country" How long? Over a year!

So who fancies this? Over to you…

Intending to be there. I think the badges are a good idea, it would help in putting faces to usernames

Completely optional. Your anonominominity is our Concern!

I might even get to work out who @richardmorris is and say hello after 3 years of missing him!

sweet! all being well I hope to be there, depositing hopefully less shredded drive belt on the M25 this time around! I mean, REV's already popped a drive belt this year and the "new" belt has only got a couple hundred miles on it, so hopefully fingers crossed thats the drive belt Quota sated for the year done and out the way!

TBH I'd love to perv on the blue, but if it's the BL product it'll be fine. Just want to meet you, really

the intention is to take REV :) (especially as just a couple weeks later on the 26th of April is this show https://www.the1100club.com/1100clubmembers/springshow-ma.php which I plan go to in the VDP1300 along with @Six-cylinder in his ADO16)

but if a fellow local/along the route, shitter is caught short, and needs a lift or what have you then I am happy to swap to the ADO16 so everyone can make it :)

What do you think you might bring, Merc, MGB or Sierra again?

You don’t want to see my ID7?

I'm sure it's a lovely ID7, and I don't want to hurt it's - or your - feelings, but....no. 😀

The Sierra hasn’t changed much since last year’s soirée and hardly anyone has seen my MG, so that would probably be my first choice.

@Peter C

I'm planning to take the Clio as long as it doesn't clash with another event (I should find out the date of that next week). I'm sure we can sort out a suitable rendezvous.

@mintwth, will you be attending again this year?

The reason I ask is because I've just stumbled across an invoice from when I had cambelt done on the Megane.

3 years ago this month!!! 😬

I assumed it must have been with the rest of the paperwork I gave you, but it turns out I've had it stashed away all this time!

I'm not sure yet @MrGTI6

I could have sworn I had an invoice from when you had the cambelt done too. How odd

Since last year I have moved to the land of leeks, sheep and drizzle so no Skoda there this year I'm afraid. Shame as I enjoyed it last year.

I hope to get the MoT and slipping clutch sorted on the 205 in readiness for this. I have a few spare weekends and a number of both car and home jobs to do.

Did I see somewhere that you'd sold the Rapid too?

I should be able to attend in something.

Currently the van is missing a clutch.

The 924 no longer leaks, but it does whine.

One of my bikes is for sale, so might not have it by then.

The other bike also has a broken clutch. (it's not my driving technique, I've never had a broken clutch on a vehicle until now)

The Lotus has the least things wrong with it, but it's strictly a fair weather vehicle.

This looks unlikely given the list of jobs I have to do on the car. If I do come along it’ll be in the Renault
