inconsistant Posted February 26 Posted February 26 The last three times were great fun, let’s do this again! DATE Sunday 12th April 2026 VENUE Flower Farm, Oxted Road (A25) Godstone RH9 8BP Flower Farm is on the A25 very close to M25 Junction 6: Flower Farm is a farm shop with a cafe/restaurant, it's on the A25 and it's about a mile south from M25 Junction 6.. They've got a good sized car park, indoor and outdoor seating, they do tasty but sometimes chaotically served breakfast type food until 11am, take away coffee, tea, cake pastries etc. There's a farm shop to fulfil all your scotch egg, picked onion, daffodil and beer desires too. Whoever gets there first please bag the far left corner of the overflow car park nearest the road again so we can all park together. From the road head into the car park, left through the gate and head to the corner by the arrow below. TIME From 10am All welcome! It would be great to see as many of us out as possible… new and old shitters, left, returned, lapsed, background lurkers, whatever, all welcome! I realise a lot of folk on here aren't in their element with lots of people and social stuff but please don't let that put you off. This started a few years ago as a gentle way of getting us back together post covid & lockdown so we'll promise to be welcoming but not overbearing! There were about 20 of us last year and a fine selection of chod, which was brilliant. I'll pop down and have a chat with the owner to let him know we'll be coming. Last Year: Two Years ago: Three Years ago: This year there will be name badges* for those who wish to be recognised and connected to their car. *Masking tape and a sharpie If this isn't enough to persuade you, there's the nearby Crowhurst Yew, "possibly the oldest yew tree in the country" How old? 4000 years! https://www.visitsurrey.com/listing/the-ancient-yew-tree-crowhurst-yew/88003101/ And of course there's the Godstone Sinkhole about a mile up the road. Known as "possibly the longest sink hole in the country" How long? Over a year! https://www.surreycc.gov.uk/community/news/categories/your-council/update-on-godstone-sinkhole So who fancies this? Over to you… CaptainBoom, LightBulbFun, rob88h and 9 others 10 2

vtec-e Posted February 28 Posted February 28 @Peter C I'm planning to take the Clio as long as it doesn't clash with another event (I should find out the date of that next week). I'm sure we can sort out a suitable rendezvous. inconsistant and Peter C 1 1
MrGTI6 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 @mintwth, will you be attending again this year? The reason I ask is because I've just stumbled across an invoice from when I had cambelt done on the Megane. 3 years ago this month!!! 😬 I assumed it must have been with the rest of the paperwork I gave you, but it turns out I've had it stashed away all this time!
mintwth Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I'm not sure yet @MrGTI6 I could have sworn I had an invoice from when you had the cambelt done too. How odd
skoda_fan Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Since last year I have moved to the land of leeks, sheep and drizzle so no Skoda there this year I'm afraid. Shame as I enjoyed it last year. inconsistant and FakeConcern 1 1
dozeydustman Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I hope to get the MoT and slipping clutch sorted on the 205 in readiness for this. I have a few spare weekends and a number of both car and home jobs to do. AltheJazzman, inconsistant, High Jetter and 2 others 5

AltheJazzman Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I should be able to attend in something. Currently the van is missing a clutch. The 924 no longer leaks, but it does whine. One of my bikes is for sale, so might not have it by then. The other bike also has a broken clutch. (it's not my driving technique, I've never had a broken clutch on a vehicle until now) The Lotus has the least things wrong with it, but it's strictly a fair weather vehicle. inconsistant, CaptainBoom, FakeConcern and 3 others 6
