Didn't expect to see this today, not least well within the ULEZ.

Appears to have been off the road for 12 years prior, maybe that's why it still exists.

Massive WANT for that Pilot too.

I was after a Pilot many years ago as I wanted a Van. But couldn't find one at the time. So bought an Ex postie Combo B instead. Which was an utter pile of shit!

Genuinely would of preferred the Leaky Damp Van.

Big ol' Pogweasel blue Sherpa luton spotted on the road the other day. How has this not crumbled to dust years ago?

Barmouth last Thursday.

Obviously the place that will offer TOP PRICE for gold is going to be operating out of a near20 year old van. I wonder if all payments are made in copper coins.

Rover P6 wheel trims as well, a very period upgrade*.

Transit owners used to use the Corsair 2000E/Zodiac ones, which were very similar but had snazzier plastic centre caps, blue with gold stars I think..amazing the things you remember from c.40 years ago!

I saw that in Brighton recently. Not sure where you spotted it but it looks like it's doing some proper travelling

Nowhere near Brighton so it's getting about. Impossible to tell how many miles it's doing as the mileometer has been stuck at 40,000 since 2007!

05 must be pretty late for a Convoy. Someone clearly loves this one to have shelled out for a fancy metallic respray.

That reminds me @500tops. When I was a kid my Dad was a fitter for Whitbreads the brewers. At the depot my Dad worked at (Shadsworth in Blackburn) they had one of these below. From memory Sherpa O series based. He used to bring it home a lot cos all us kids on our street loved playing in it. Then again my Uncle was a transport engineer at the same depot so it want unusual to have an artic tanker or a dray parked outside our house on our little street as well. Happy days ☺️

Shite photo snapped as I drove past but, decades deep at the local scrapyard, I spotted a Convoy. On its left there is a Sherpa but my photo skills are ‘meh’.

Something I remember about the prefacelifted Sherpas with the lights integrated corner bumpers is they'd always be wonky. They were never straight.

Saw this one earlier in the year:

1983 Freight Rover Sherpa 2.0 Petrol

Complete with tailgate. Makes me wonder if it was an RAC van, possibly with a connection to Marshall of Cambridge who might have fitted them out. Complete guess, could be completely wrong.

That's peak Sherpa for me. New enough to have some snazzy bits on and looks a bit badass, but old enough to be basically pre-Christ underneath
