Many reasons NOT to buy a discovery 2. It never made it to 201k.

Mad thinking that the Mrs said to me about this last night as I use that junction everyday .... Of course with me being the ultimate moaner about traffic and delays etc she said " you'd have had a right moan about all that" which I would have not having a clue it was another member of this forum involved.

Insurance companies can be slow to attend and assist with such things but I'll sure they'll see you right.

People always say it but the most important thing is that everyone's ok.

Bloody hell! Really glad you're all OK, still a shock to your systems though. Hope the one who hits you gets done.

Owee! It’s relief that you all got out of that with minimal personal damage. Hopefully you can get back to Sutty Towers soon with minimal further hassle.

As a caravanner, I'm amazed the caravan looks so unscathed, and remained upright.

As everyone says, at least you've come out of this able to be pissed off at the financial loss and inconvenience and not wondering you you'll cope in the future with one leg/eye etc. Sending positive vibes and strong tea through the power of the internets.

Alive is always a bonus in such circumstances.

Ambulance and fire crew repeated that one a few times. They were so impressed with the car seat for little Arthur doing its job and he came out unharmed. ❤️

Looks grim. Glad you made it out OK.

Totalling a car often follows major expenditure on it IME. All the more reason to be a bodging tightarse 😉

Make sure insurance sort you a new car seat too. Sorry to see this, and I’m sure very unpleasant then and now. Disco sacrificed herself for you as is her duty.

Sure does prove why, despite all the naysayers and alternatives a massive fuck off Discovery is a good towing vehicle.

Good at towing, good at keeping you alive when towing goes wrong. The roof structure doesn't look too deformed considering what happened, shame the glass imploded and made it more chaotic than it already was.
